A Fabby Halloween: Wild Thing

Every little kid, and big kid, is excited for Spike Jonze's film adaption of the endearing book Where The Wild Things Are.

Every little kid, and big kid, is excited for Spike Jonze's film adaption of the endearing book Where The Wild Things Are. Opening Ceremony may possibly be the most stoked, its Wild Thing collection is awesome. The film releases soon — Oct. 16 — and I realized it's an easy, adorable, fabulously fuzzy Halloween idea. You may already have some furry boots or a fur vest, and really, the furrier the better. Add some spiked jewelry and tribal touches and go wild.

Get ready for lots more Halloween ideas as my Fabby Halloween series '09 takes off. Join my A Fabby Halloween group where we can share ideas, photos, and revel in Halloween happiness.

Retailer New York & Co. Launches Beauty Collection. In about two weeks, New York & Co stores will launch City Beauty, a line of 30 bath and body products ($8–$30) in six scents. The shapes of the products are intended to mimic the Manhattan skyline, and the names also have New York neighborhood themes such as Downtown Darling, Chelsea Chic, Broadway Beauty, Uptown Angel and Miss Manhattan. Clearly, this interpretation of New York is more pretty than gritty.

Celebrity Style: Diane Kruger

In case you haven't heard, I absolutely adore Diane Kruger.

In case you haven't heard, I absolutely adore Diane Kruger. Any opportunity to feature her is more than fine by me, and that's why I was thrilled to see her looking stunning, as usual, at the Cartier Polo Day. That eggplant hue really suits her and gives her an air of sophistication that most Hollywooders lack. Her use of black accessories, especially the patent leather belt, are understated yet sleek. And that other accessory - her man, Joshua Jackson - isn't bad either!
