Armenian designer Tamara Pogosian may have started her fashion career in 2002 when she debuted her first collection, but her passion for clothes was seeded long before that. Born in Armenia, raised in Russia, Tamara experienced her love for fashion at the age of 12, when she would watch Fashion Television with host Jeanie Becker (me too!). She instantly knew she wanted to be in the industry in some capacity.

In 1992, she moved to NYC to attend Parson's School of Design and FIT and that's where her career gained wings. Besides designing her own men's and women's line, Tamara also freelances for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Coach, DKNY Jeans, Victoria's Secret, and more.

Fashion week confessional: during my first days of fashion week in New York I had the worst wedgies. I don't know if it was the mad rushing, the humidity or my lame boy shorts — a combination of all three I'm sure. But, like a true fabionista, I kept on keepin' on. One magical day I wore these Jockey® "No Panty Line Promise" Tactel Modern Briefs ($8.50) and my butt cheeks were the happiest. Yes, they promise no VPLs, but they should double that promise. After all, wedgies are not, and will never be, in vogue.

Orange people...are happy and spontaneous. They are friendly and open and have a wonderful ability to become awed with things. The orange person reminds us of the child in ourselves. Positive and worry-free orange people are health-oriented, hence FitSugar! Orange people are lovers of life.

True, the one-shoulder is not a new trend. But for some reason I was really digging it on the Spring runways. Maybe it just makes more sense to show a little asymmetrical skin when the sunshine is beaming down on your glistening skin. Maybe that's just my fantasy, but it sure sounds nice no?

Nothing puts a smile on my face like polka dots. This happy motif is fun, feminine and whimsical. And really, quite classic. But these Spring polka dots are modern; some of them metallic, some of the digitized, all of them Fab.

We just had a whitewash of a Summer, and there is no end in sight for the starkest color of all. White was once again omnipresent amidst a varicolored New York Spring, so officially blast those white-is-reserved-for-weddings-only thoughts. The unveiling of sheer materials and details on dresses and skirts is a definite sign that fashion is saying goodbye to dressing little girls and hello to dressing women.
