>> Our beaus are easier to shop for than our girlfriends, but that doesn't mean that when we gift them, we don't like there to be an element of surprise. Check our city boy-approved picks like this Opening Ceremony funnel neck scarf, or if your love is a manly man, stock his stuffer with a cheeky tobacco scent cologne from Oak. We're channeling our inner downtown equestrian with these statement pieces from Bec & Bridge, Balmain, and Oak. We love how the cutout shoulders give this denim shirt a new spin, and this tri-buckle leather and canvas belt will seamlessly fit into any classic look. Also, check out the red box clutch, stallion mug, and Pierre Hardy for Gap booties for extra streamlined scintillation.

We're conjuring up an eclectic mood this week with artifacts like this knit turban beanie from Oak and Wayuu Taya woven bag. A sturdy pair of red wine boots from Rachel Comey, a Bruce Weber print tee from Versus, and Mara Hoffman print skirt add extra zest to the palette. The piece de resistance? A magnificent feather and chain necklace from Lanvin.

I'm sure you all have plenty of t-shirts in your stash, but do you have a one-shouldered tee in the mix? This Rick Owens Lilies Asymmetric Tee ($160, originally $228) has badass written all over it. The simple subtraction of one sleeve takes the look from regular to off-kilter. Genius, but even at 30 percent off, it's pricey. Sorry, Rick, we have to move on . . .

While we adore pretty things here at Fab, sometimes it's fun to stare at the not-so-pretty pieces. Remember those crazy funky jeans or the crazy hats at China Fashion Week? Now I've hunted down 10 more pieces that will leave you . . . confused. Some of them are clearly going through an identity crisis, see for yourself.
The push toward fall is becoming increasingly hard to ignore as online retailers are beginning to sell out of coveted cold-weather merch. From a Topshop sequin blazer, to a Wang it-bag, to a four thousand dollar goat coat by Burberry--all signs are pointing to next season, not this one. We recommend following suit. Keep track of the inventory at your local stores and favorite online retailers from now through September--this is the time of year when big deliveries, filled with must-have pieces, are hitting shelves.
I don't know about you, but I find myself wanting, and not being able to afford, many things at Oak. If you have the same dilemma, follow me into the 304050 sale. It's filled with amazing pieces by Alexander Wang, Monrow, Grey Ant, Acne, Rachel Comey, and more. Trust me, it's a goodie. These Jeffrey Campbell Lilac Suede Two-Tone Heels ($99, originally $165) would immediately add flair to any Summer ensemble.

In case you haven't had your fill of studded and spiked footwear, Pour La Victoire has the market cornered this summer. Similar to Givenchy's Fall 2009 spiked sandal, the Pour La Victoire Tia spike heel is available at OAK and retails for just $348. If the combination of a 1" platform and 4 1/2" heel has you feeling nauseous, the brand is also selling studded (not spiked) sandals via OAK as well.
Just in time for the new season, Chronicles of Never launched their new site complete with an online store and photos of their Fall 2009 collection (above). This Sydney based brand is designed and owned by Gareth Moody, who founded the hipster-label Tsubi (now Ksubi). Chronicles of Never is known for a dark, futuristic look and is carried by the likes of OAK in New York.
