I've been on the lookout for a laptop sleeve. I keep discovering new scratches on my Mac and it's time I took good care of it. My search ends today, thanks to this Rebecca Minkoff Virginia Computer Sleeve ($98), which also comes in black and bright orange. I used to think it was impossible to find a highly fashionable computer sleeve that's also functional, but this one is as non-geeky as they get. The patent leather is slick, the bright pink is super fun. Plus, the price isn't half bad either. To get more for my money, I think I'll carry it as an oversize clutch on the weekends.

Every once in a while, I like to wear an in-your-face statement bag. The thing is, I have issues with buying such a trendy piece for so much moola. For instance, I love this bright Elisa Atheniense Patent Blue Handbag ($795) but the price is far from desirable.

The patent footwear former Chloe designer Paulo Melim Andersson sent down his Spring runway says a lot about the man — he understands that a shoe can really make an outfit. Besides the irresistible shoe boots, Chloe served up patent sandals with multiple wide straps like the one here. But even on sale, Chloe's footwear takes a big bite out of your paycheck. Luckily, another designer has come out with equally cool but a less pricey option.

Halt the presses — Kate Moss is smiling, wide! The model spent an evening celebrating the opening of a new London art exhibition, and though she was dressed in all black, her sense of humor was anything but morose. Kate generally wears a dark palette, but we rarely see her in head-to-toe black. The patent-leather coat adds a much-needed shine and the pointy black lace-up boots give her a witchy vibe. Wicked!

Oh, Marni. Why do you have to go and make a collection of incredibly desirable footwear that's out of my reach? This Marni Patent Runway Wedge ($685) is something I can ideally splurge on, but is it really worth paying that much for something I can't possibly wear every day? I think not.

If a celeb happens to be carrying a hot bag, that's a whole different story. Such is the case for LL and the newest Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg's latest arm candy. The gold Gucci crests make it regal, and the patent is so slippery shiny, it can double as a mirror. LL-Love!

You know that signature Fendi buckle — it's recognizable from a mile away. It's found on the brand's bags, belts, and footwear, like this Fendi Peep-Toe Pump ($475). In some instances, such as on the Fendi B bag, it can be tacky, but when the buckle is small, it's so cute. Lucky for you Fendi lovers, I found an equally buckle-iscious alternative that's cheaper and way more comfortable!
