If Paz de la Huerta knows one thing, it's how to look like she's having a much more exciting night than anyone else at a party. The Emmys is no exception. Paz has some major bedhead texture going on, plus creamy lilac lipstick and a sultry gaze. The cool-girl makeup and hair stand out from her blush-hued gown, but Paz doesn't seem like the kind of lady who minds a little cognitive dissonance. Do you love her devil-may-care style?

The super stylist was joined on the red carpet by How I Met Your Mother's Cobie Smulders, and a curve-showing Sofia Vergara, who just revealed that she's designing a line for K-Mart. True Blood's Sam Trammell balanced out the ladies, as did Sofia's Modern Family costar Jesse Tyler Ferguson. The celebs all mingled inside, and Sofia snapped a photo of her good times with Sam and Jesse. Rachel, meanwhile, dished about the foods she's loving while pregnant. This Week's Fab Favorite: Paz de la Huerta
Sometimes all it takes is a killer pair of shoes. You know this. A rockin' bod and an unexpected slit help, too. It's all in the details with this one . . . After a week of seeing enviable gowns and glamour at the Cannes Film Festival, there's something fresh and perfect about actress Paz de la Huerta's (not so) minimal look. Earth tones never looked so sexy, and little flesh is exposed here. But you can still see Paz's curves and slender stems. But let's talk about those exquisite black tribal sandals! No info on the genius who designed them yet (anyone know?), but they are little pieces of art. With shoes like that, paring everything else down is key. Paz was promoting her film Enter the Void and she has my undivided attention.
P.S. Honorable mention of the week is Brad Pitt in pink Tom Ford — totally pulls it off.

2009 Fall New York Fashion Week: Zac Posen
Posen found solace in a retro, eclectic Fall collection. The '40s were beckoned through square shoulders, skirt suits, tweed, ruffles, and country florals. The palette was totally autumnal: beige, gold, pumpkin, storm gray, but kicked up a notch with scarlet red, silky lilac, and noir. Posen's muse of the season was sultry actress Paz de la Huerta, who served as his date while he took his finale bow. No Posen runway is complete without drama, that he supplied through the 5 Browns, a bro and sis piano group, and metallic, asymmetrical gowns. There was lots of flair going on — jeweled belts, fancy buttons, satin shoes, studded headbands, and cluster earrings. All the more to compliment his screen siren.
