>> Designer Lauren Moffatt's love of all things vintage, and her penchant for eye-catching prints, is evident in everything she does — from designing her eponymous ready-to-wear collection to shopping for herself and her young daughter. "Whether it's in my home or in my closet, there's an LM thread through it all," Moffatt explains. It's this type of aesthetic consistency that has made Moffatt's line of patterned dresses, swing capes, and Peter Pan blouses a favorite among indie actresses and fashion veterans alike; the line — now in its 12th year — is sold everywhere from Steven Alan to small boutiques. We caught up with the Philadelphia native at her New York City atelier to find out where she looks for inspiration, where she goes for second-hand goods, and which pieces are currently topping her shopping list.

>> Fashion publicist Gabby Sabharwal has a knack for finding exceptional pieces wherever she goes — and she has a collection of vintage handbags, gorgeous accessories, and one-off clothing to prove it. "I love finding a hidden treasure," Sabharwal explains.

Sabharwal's penchant for seeking out the original, as well as her keen eye for mixing of colors, prints, and textures, seems to be paying off. Next Spring, she's launching Giejo, her own line of mix-and-match swimwear. Featuring six boldly printed separates that can be combined into 16 different looks, the line is meant to suit different body shapes — and aesthetics. "I gathered feedback from friends about their own ideal swimsuit shapes and then looked at my own closet," she says.
