Celeb Style: Sarah Jessica Parker

Calling all party monsters.

Calling all party monsters. If you are currently lacking inspiration for holiday dressing, let SJP be your muse. The lovely leading lady razzle-dazzled 'em at the UK premiere of Did You Hear About the Morgans? in a shocking pink L'Wren Scott dress and fabulously fun accessories. Those purple suede and pink satin Charlotte Olympia pumps — swoon. Her flowing black L'Wren Scott coat even carried a signature Carrie rosette pin. Takes me back. But SJP is always taking it fashion forward.

Trend Alert: Tiered Ruffles

Ruffle me this, ruffle me that.

Ruffle me this, ruffle me that. You all went gaga over the frills of Spring last week so I thought we could fast forward this trend. Lately, I've been swayed by tiered ruffles. The master of ruffles, Valentino, shows how it's done (pictured). Who can forget Sarah Michelle Gellar's bubbly champagne look in vintage Chloe? Ruffle in the Winter, ruffle in the Summer, ruffle me all over.

Trend Alert: Moody Flora

It's so fitting that I'm listening to Radiohead while I bring you some moody flora.

It's so fitting that I'm listening to Radiohead while I bring you some moody flora. Just when we've been convincing you to fight the darkness of the shorter Winter days with bright colors, gloomy and gray floral patterns emerge. But these don't have to bring you down, see this crisp Cruise frock by Giambattista Valli? The neutrals and contrasting black and whites provide the perfect accompaniment for a splash of tomato red or canary yellow. Like the music of Radiohead, moody flora is, well, moody.

Tracy Reese Introduces Plenty Frock

Right on! "There's room to eat, and to breathe" in Tracy Reese's secondary line being introduced this Spring.

Right on! "There's room to eat, and to breathe" in Tracy Reese's secondary line being introduced this Spring. The princess of frills, pleats, and curve flattering frocks will be bringing us even more pretty dresses via Plenty Frock. These lovelies look perfect for upcoming summer weddings and disco dancing nights. There is a range of styles but "they have similar silhouettes: a flowy skirt with top that's either formfitting or a little bare." The line will be sold at retailers such as Bloomingdales, Saks and the Tracy Reese flagship in NYC. I personally can't wait!
