Today is an exciting day; aside from the fact that it's Friday, today is the day we crown CelebStyle's top stars of the week! This week's standouts were Emma Stone in a mad for plaid street-chic look, Reese Witherspoon in a striped gray-and-white dress with classic accessories, Jessica Alba in a cheeky sweater and fabulous ikat pants, and a few more including Gwen Stefani, Eva Mendes, Chloe Moretz, and Hilary Rhoda. Come on in to check out all of our smashing style stars, then shop one, or all, of their standout looks for yourself.
Add Reese Witherspoon's Chloé Bag and Ballet Flats to Your Classics
While checking up on the construction of her new house in Brentwood, Reese Witherspoon exuded cute comfort in her gray-and-white striped dress, rust-colored cardigan, off-white Chloé bag, and tan Repetto ballet flats. That Chloé is a smaller version of the one Jessica Alba and Elizabeth Olsen have been toting around, only Reese's off-white is perfect for Spring and Summer. This latest ensemble is just one more example of Reese's effortless pregnancy style. We've been taking note of her genius formula: a loose-fitting dress, lightweight outerwear, a statement bag, and flat footwear. We also loved her eggplant and tan combo from a few weeks back and her all-black with two-tone bag, too. Celebs Prove That the Denim Shirt Is Officially a Fashion Staple
Celebrity trends may come and go, but we are thrilled to see the denim shirt holding steady among Hollywood's hottest. Every celeb has her own way of wearing the trend, and we particularly love how these 17 stars worked the basic fashion staple. Channel your inner fashionista by styling denim on denim like Kate Bosworth, balance a pair of darker bottoms with a denim top like Taylor Swift, or layer a chambray blouse over a floral maxi skirt like Jenna Dewan. As you can see from these looks, a denim shirt is super versatile; it works well with everything. So step inside to see more celebs working the trend, then shop our favorite picks.
Repetto Moves From Ballet Flats Into Beauty
Any Francophile worth her sel is familiar with Repetto, whose chic ballet slippers are favored by Parisiennes worldwide. Now, the 64-year-old dance company is preparing its first fragrance. What to expect from a brand known best for its chic flats? Philippe Benacin, chairman and CEO of Interparfums SA, says the partnership between his fragrance company and Repetto will draw on the world of dance, promising a "poetic, glamorous and ultra-feminine" line of scents. The first of them will premiere in 2013, joining Jimmy Choo and Nine West's forthcoming fragrance in a small but growing group of fragrances whose brand DNA started in shoes.
Celeb Style: Nicky Hilton
Nicky Hilton wore a playful Blu Moon dress while rocking out at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, CA. She accessorized her leopard mini with black Repetto flats, a bevy of bracelets, and blue nail polish for a pop of color. Shop now to get Nicky's exact frock and flats to re-create her festival style.
Celeb Style: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley caught my eye strolling around LA in an easy-chic look that's incidentally ideal for the weekend ahead. Olive-hued skinnies ($215) are a nice alternative to your go-to denim; then top with a cozy knit, like Rosie's textured basketweave sweater ($325), and finish with a fedora to keep things casual, but still cool. 21 Days of Resolutions: Stylish but Practical Footwear
We're thrilled to present our favorite Lucky story here on Fab!

Coordinating my daily footwear choices during the winter involves mapping out a complicated battle plan: Should I wear the heavy-duty boots all day and look silly at work? Forgo the boots and have cold (or worse! stepped-in-slush-wet!) feet during my commute? Wear wellies and schlep my heels to work in a giant, heavy tote?
What, exactly, is the best way to stay warm and dry without looking completely sloppy?
This year I am streamlining my morning footwear deliberation into a no-brainer routine—cute waterproof boots with skinnies or tights outside and a tiny rolled-up pair of flats in my purse for later. Here are some of my favorite combos:
1. Loeffler Randall rain boots with back zip, $195, loefflerrandall.com. Just like the trademark leather boots they are modeled after, these sleek boots have a subtle, leg-lengthening wedge.
2. Rodarte for Repetto ballerinas, $425, openingceremony.us. The mesmerizing marbleized effect of these butter-soft flats makes any outfit a showstopper.
3. Steve Madden Tsunamii rain boots, $79.95, zappos.com. Motorcycle buckles and a shock of red down the back make these cool-girl boots both gritty and fun.
4. Porselli ballerina flats, $122.50, usonline.apc.fr. A rusty red pairs well with worn-in corduroys during the winter but sets off a crisp white dress perfectly after the snow has melted.
5. Women's duck boots, $69.50, canvas.landsend.com. Something about these utilitarian booties makes me want to pull them on over chunky cabled socks.

Trend Alert: Black Patent Loafers

Mossie sure knows how to make a statement with her feet; notice her black patent loafers. Kate in head-to-toe black in nothing new, but she ups the style ante with a double dose of shine and menswear charm. I wear my oxfords contrasted with a frilly dress, or torn up jeans, or you can do like Kate and don cropped pants for a sassy money look.
A Look We Love: Cropped Denim And Flat Ankle Boots

Everyone loves the new ankle boots that are taking Fall 08 by storm, but what about those days when you're running errands and need an element of comfort? We're loving the combination of cropped denim and flat ankle boots for this reason. Whether it's a loud tie-dye wash, a sleek dark skinny jean, or the boyfriend cut, pairing your favorite cropped denim with a pair of flat ankle-highs is a fashionable and comfortable option. The Repetto boots are our favorite but the fringe and motorcycle boots are both more affordable and classic. Take your pick, and indulge in this perfect combination.
