Liam Hemsworth stepped out with a group of guy friends last night in Cannes at Belvedere's big soiree. The actor was one of several celebrities in attendance: Solange Knowles also arrived just before Rev Run and DJ Ruckus took to the turntables to spin a set full of throwback hip-hop for the crowd. The Help's Ahna O'Reilly also made an appearance at the party, which was nestled in an underground VIP space in the JW Marriott, right in the heart of the city's bustling festival scene.

Liam is in Cannes to celebrate the Hunger Games franchise, while Miley Cyrus has been tweeting about spending time in the recording studio back in the states as she works on new music. Liam's second film in the series isn't screening during the festival, but the cast — including Jennifer Lawrence — gathered today for a Catching Fire photocall, and Lionsgate is throwing a bash in honor of the film later tonight.

The deejaying duo shared that they have some surprises in store for their big night, which Rev explained is "not just a regular show." You may recognize Angel and Vanessa Simmons from MTV's reality show "Run's House." The hip hop princesses, who launched their own sneaker line, Pastry on Sunday, are the daughters of ex-Run-D.M.C. star Reverend Joseph "Run." The pair's first collection, dubbed Cake, is comprised of four sneakers: Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Mousse, Sprinkles and Red Velvet. Each style is designed to look like the cake it represents. That's not where the sweetness ends, though. Each shoe, $65, comes with lip gloss that tastes and smells like the respective sneaker. Next up is a collection called Fab Cookie! I wonder what goodies will be whipped up for that line...

Although the line hasn't hit online stores yet, it has been reported that DrJays.com will soon be carrying it. If you're a sneaker gal, be sure to snag one of the delicious Simmons concoctions!
