Cameron Diaz was among the stylish Rag & Bone-clad stars that came out to fete the label's new LA boutique on Friday night. For the celebration, the actress chose the following Rag & Bone pieces: this ikat minidress ($450), these sparkly booties ($819), and this pint-sized mini satchel ($725). To achieve Cameron's latest downtown-cool look, shop her exact pieces to wear together, as well as with other statement items in your closet.
Satchels are one of our favorite handbag styles — they're versatile, stylish, and instantly add a menswear touch to any look. Fun fact: satchels were popularized in the 17th century and even predated the backpack! Suffice to say, this trend isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so with that in mind, we've rounded up five fabulous satchels that you need to get your hands on. From classic to studded, we've got you covered. On Allison McNamara: H&M top and necklace.
From Phillip Lim to Céline to Reed Krakoff, structured satchels were all over the runways — fitting right into this season's ladylike trend. If you're looking to add some sophistication to your easy, breezy Spring wardrobe, try a refined, take-anywhere satchel. Whether you're into casual carryalls or chic, elegant options, the ladylike leather handbags instantly create a sense of polished style. Hoping to step up your warm-weather look? Click the slideshow and try out one of these gorgeous satchels for a smart style upgrade.
It may be the most functional bag out there: the satchel. It's got a vintage feel, can be slouchy, and is defined by a front flap and a long strap so you can throw it over your shoulder. Iconic satchels, like the Proenza Schouler PS1, have graced the arms of countless celebs including Leighton Meester, Ashley Olsen, and Jessica Alba. We've highlighted our favorite satchels for the season, shoppable below. Just click on them to buy.

I have the perfect bag for you to carry on your hot Valentine's Day date — this Yves Saint Laurent red or orchid Easy Tote ($995 each). I know they don't come cheap, but if you have moolah to spare, they're delectable buys. The orchid color is pretty prim, while the red is sultry sexy. I'm in love with the large Y stamped in the center and the patent sheen. Just be mindful not to pay more attention to the bag than to your date!
Congratulations, misskacie! Now, like Fab and Vanessa Hudgens, you too have Botkier's fringe-tastic bag. Enjoy it. Winning was easy — all she did was enter the contest and take a mini Botkier quiz, and luck brought her an early holiday gift. Everyone else, thanks for participating, and stay tuned for our next giveaway.
I loved Botkier's Morgan Satchel ($650) as soon as I laid eyes on it. That's why I'm carrying it with my fabulous Fall outfit you helped me pick. That wispy fringe, soft Italian leather, the shiny gold hardware — I can't resist. Neither can Vanessa Hudgens apparently. Since I already have mine, I'm giving one away! Consider it my special holiday gift to you.

Ever since Nordstrom debuted its buy online, pick up in store program, I've been perusing their goods more frequently. One of the beauties I ran into during my hunt was this Botkier Morgan Small Fringed Satchel ($650). I can't buy online and pick up in store because it's currently on pre-sale, but it was special enough to make me stop in my clicks. I have long appreciated fringe but sometimes the trend can get out of hand. This bag shows us that fringe in small doses goes a long way. On your mark, get set, pre-order!
The satchel is your handbag best friend. It's medium sized, ladylike and simple - I'm sure everyone has a favorite satchel sitting in her closet needing a dust off! If not, this Spring would be a good time to invest in one - especially a colorful one. Because this isn't an oversized tote it's a better colorful contender - there's less bag so it's not so in-your-face bright. And a satchel is what you get when you have to take the shoulder strap off a convertible bag. Here are a few lovelies.
