Sex and the City came to a close after six unforgettable seasons. We were taken on quite an emotional roller coaster in this final season. For Carrie, Berger was out, Big was calling again, and her new Lovah, Aleksandr Petrovsky was showering her with mature affection. Charlotte was living happily ever after with Harry, Miranda tied the knot, and how can we forget that Samantha was diagnosed with cancer and Smith was steadfastly by her side. Carrie's spontaneous move to Paris with Aleksandr was most shocking to me. Of course, picturesque Paris is every girl's dream, but Carrie was such a deep-rooted New Yorker. But in the end, Mr. Big, and NYC, called Carrie back home. Home sweet home, indeed! Check out my other Sex and the City style slideshows!

The final season of Sex and the City had many ups and downs, as to be expected. While I never wanted the show to end, I thought it was a fine finale. But we're not there yet. The first half of the season was classic: Carrie's career was on the up and up with her book success and her love life was in the pooper thanks to Berger — a major disappointment. But she picked herself right back up. The other gals also found love and even more fabulous wardrobes. But seriously, this is the season when someone caught on that we, the viewers, loved seeing the woman in amazing clothes. And so, they delivered a feast for our eyes. I have to admit season five is probably my least favorite of Sex and the City. I don't know if it's because it seemed rushed — it was the season filmed during SJP's pregnancy — or because Carrie was so bitter this time around. I love the gal, but I hate it when she whines. However, her clothes were dramatically more sophisticated and fabulous. Miranda had her own wardrobe woes as "Miranda Baby Weight," Samantha was her same glamour puss self (sans cantaloupes), and Charlotte became Jewish! Season four ended in the air — with Carrie being more single than ever after another failed run with Aidan and Big moving to Napa. We saw some of the looks from season four, and there's more where that came from! One of my most favorite looks all-time is here in the finale, when Carrie was trying to have a final night in NYC with Big only to end up in the hospital with Miranda, who gave birth to her little Brady. Season four of Sex and the City started to get serious. Seriously fabulous! But really, the women starting to evolve and develop senses of self, and style. From the beginning of the season with such amusing episodes like "The Real Me" where Carrie is "fashion road kill" to the end with such a serious episode as "I Heart NY" where one of their own, Miranda, has a baby, we learned that SATC was growing up. You didn't think that was all the Sex and the City style from season three did you? Pshht. Season three was not only one of the most turbulent of seasons, it was also one of the most fashionable. Did anyone else notice Carrie always dressed a bit more sophisticated for Big than Aidan? She was more casual and funky for Aidan. I like both styles for both men. One thing I really want to find before I die: Carrie's purple sequin Fendi baguette. Yes, the one that was stolen. Are you out there my pretty?
