It's the stuff that makes for a killer wardrobe; click on, and start making your Spring wish list.
Some things are worth the wait — that's the first thing we'll say about Asos's latest lineup. You may have to suffer through the next four months of Winter till the collection debuts online, but the wash of prints, high-wattage hues, and statement-making accessories will have serious payoff for your Spring style. For Spring '13, the label's all about high-impact: floral appliqué heels, metallic wedges, sparkling bib necklaces finished with neon rhinestones, and whimsical, rainbow-colored dresses. If you're not the girlie type, Asos does its part to offer the alternative styler a range of cool-girl merchandise — beyond its candy-covered clutches or floral-covered dresses, you'll find buckled or studded booties, embellished leather, fringed jackets, and chambray with a surfer-inspired feel. With a mix of punky plaids, tweedy separates, and prim pointed-toe flats, we like to think of Topshop's Fall collection as a hybrid of cool-girl stylings from Britain's fashion darlings. We could see both Alexa Chung's boy-meets-girl street style and Poppy Delevigne's effortless-chic in the trench coats, leather skirts, loafers, and tweed crop tops from Topshop's Autumn lineup. Right down to the boxy handheld satchels, quilted leather, and red-plaid skinnies, the brand balances British prep-school punk with a more sophisticated, ladylike spin. In short, it's perfect for playing the part of any of London's trendsetters (no accent required). Read on for our editors' favorites, then click through to see it all.
- This quilted leather mini was made for nailing that punky-rock feel. We'll pair it with our favorite band tee, a statement necklace, and loafers to drive it home.
- From the trench to the cap-toe flats, this look is the perfect balance between edgy and sophisticated. Just switch out the crop top to take it to work.
- This gold sheath would be easy to dress up for cocktail hour or down for the workplace, layered up with a collared button-down underneath.

We eagerly await designers' Resort offerings all year — a lesson in sophisticated albeit easy dressing. For 2013, collections are awash in both brilliant colors and prints from the likes of Diane von Furstenberg, whose offerings are rife with worldly references. Add to that the ladylike fluidity of Issa's looks, a study in minimalist menswear-inspired wares via Chado Ralph Rucci, and Marchesa's luxe evening gowns, inspired by the designers' childhood memories of English garden parties. There's literally something in this lineup to suit the stylish whims of every girl. The latest is a crop of color-blasted, under-the-sea-inspired separates, luxurious sequined dresses done up with French colonial inspiration, and geometric-infused cocktail sheaths and party dresses. We've pulled from each collection to bring you the highlights — just click through for the best of Resort 2013 thus far.
Summer is looking a little more luxe, thanks to Zara's June collection, a lesson in the most elegant seasonal dressing, albeit with the retailer's on-trend twist. Get ready to suit up in Summer whites of the chicest kind, like a fitted blazer and a sheer button-up finished in rhinestones at the collar. Flashes of slick red separates and a cool animal-print tuxedo jacket provide the cool contrasts, as do the label's statement jewels. For Zara's latest, the label treats us to a bevvy of baubles to dress up our denim jackets and tanks. It's all in the details here — a wild studded clutch, embellished collars, lace trim on our tanks — so you can rest assured that even your most basic Summer wardrobe will get the lift it needs. Read on for our key pieces, then click through to get a glimpse of the gorgeous Aymeline Valade showing off every new look.

We got our first taste of Madewell's Fall 2012 back in April, but if ever there was a way to prove the cool factor in this collection, it's in Madewell's perfectly styled Fall lookbook. Mastering the art of effortless layers, girl-meets-boy appeal, and the style quirks of traditional Fall clothing turned on its head, Madewell offers up the season's essentials in bold hues, clever prints (like a leopard-print grandpa cardigan), and staple denim. It's the best kind of tomboy dressing — pastel tulip skirts paired with plaid button-downs and field boots — and a woodsier edge, thanks to cozy knit hats, lumberjack-inspired jackets, and cheeky wool sweaters. Read on for our must-have pieces, then click through to get a glimpse of the whole collection.
For its Fall '12 lineup, H&M marries the art of minimalism with high-impact detail. It's another covetable collection from the retailer, this time finishing streamlined silhouettes with bursts of color, statement print, and decadent accessories — and there's something for everyone in this batch of goodies. From the slickest kind of pencil skirt, finished with leather and adorned with peplum, to a perfect wooly cocoon coat, this crew of separates is as fit for the cool-girl as they are the sophisticate, with a palette of rich autumnal burgundy, gray, and flashes of metallics that speak decidedly to the season. As if the moody hues aren't enough, the cozy fabrications from mohair to tweed, bouclé, and jacquard will have you feeling Fall in no time flat. Click on for the complete lookbook.
If Marie Antoinette lived today, we suspect Asos's Fall '12 collection would be her go-to wardrobe source. With an eye for trends that's made Asos a go-to shopping destination, the brand zeroed in on some of Fall's key pieces, albeit with a decidedly decadent slant. Rich and colorful textures were utilized on pieces ranging from outerwear to party skirts, and there were also the cooler fare via playful patents and slick leather skirts, dresses, pants, and shirts. Sequins and sparkle also had their moment as the collection veered toward a girlier, more playful side in floral-sequined trousers and a pair of gold hot pants. The details also reflected fun Baroque-era references in velvet heels and a glitzy pair of drop earrings, then in tougher pieces with lug-sole boots and a camouflaged knapsack. Wallflowers, be warned: this collection was made to make a statement — even the classic button-down is finished in patent. Click on for a taste of Asos's ultravibrant, totally opulent Fall '12 collection.
