>> Donna Karan and Adriana Lima landed in Haiti today for Karan's Spring 2012 campaign shoot, and we've got a few behind-the-scenes photos. Russell James, well known for his Victoria's Secret photo shoots — who therefore has worked with Lima often — is on photographer duty, after making an appearance at the Karan's Spring 2012 show in September.
Gisele Bundchen Rumored to Have Shot Givenchy Spring 2012 Campaign Last Week
>> After closing Givenchy's Spring 2012 runway show earlier this month, Gisele Bundchen was assumed to be a shoe-in for the collection's ad campaign. It seems that those assumptions may not be off par. On Saturday, male model Noah Mills tweeted, "Going to jamaica tomorrow to shoot with Gisele," and earlier today, Forbes's Anderson Antunes tweeted, "Rumor has it that Gisele Bundchen shot the Givenchy S/S campaign last week in Jamaica with model Noah." If the rumors turn out to be true and the campaign involves just Bundchen and Mills, it marks the first Givenchy campaign for which Riccardo Tisci hasn't used close friend and muse Mariacarla Boscono since the Fall 2007 campaign.
Bundchen was the face of Givenchy once before, in Fall 2000, when Alexander McQueen was the house's designer. See that campaign in the slideshow.
Freja Beha Erichsen to Be Replaced For Spring 2012 Chanel Campaign
>> After five consecutive Chanel campaigns — ending with the Fall 2011 set styled by Carine Roitfeld — it sounds like Freja Beha Erichsen's reign has come to an end. Roitfeld and Karl Lagerfeld reteamed over the weekend at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, where Lagerfeld shot Saskia de Brauw and Joan Smalls for the Spring 2012 Chanel ads, which are “all about athletics and the sea. . . . It’s very modern sportif and in black and white,” according to the designer. He is now headed to Rome to shoot Fendi's Spring 2012 campaign with Arizona Muse, who will pose on the city's streets at dawn and dusk. She replaces Anja Rubik, who has been the face of Fendi for the past four seasons. [WWD]
Givenchy's All-Star Lineup Included Gisele Bundchen and the Return of Heather Marks
>> Who scored a coveted spot on Givenchy's always well-curated roster this season? Big names like Karolina Kurkova, Erin Wasson (in her first appearance since New York this season); plus Frankie Rayder, Mariacarla Boscono, and Natalia Vodianova — the show's opener — all popped up on the runway for the first time this season. Heather Marks made a return as exclusive, and there were also a number of newcomer exclusives like Henrietta Hellberg and Anna-Maria Nemetz. But perhaps creating the most buzz? The show's closer, Gisele Bundchen, who is already assumed to be a shoe-in for next season's campaign. See them all in the slideshow.
