Tennis star Maria Sharapova appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman looking quite the style maven in her black-and-white ensemble and to-die-for YSL sandals. I don't normally look to sports figures for inspiration, but I have to give credit where credit is due . . . and Maria's black tulip skirt spurred a hunt to find something equally sexy but not equally pricey.

Jenny McCarthy attended the Celebrity Beach Bowl looking anything but sporty. In fact, her jeweled animal-print Blumarine dress made her the most sophisticated gal on the red carpet. What I love about the frock is the oversized animal print; it gives a new spin on the widespread trend. And her belted coat is the ideal casual cover up. Roar!
Chloe had a big bash and naturally the celebrities turned out. Becki Newton stole the show in a Chloe strapless, flannel dress, but what's up with her black boots? They take the focus away from the gorgeous frock. Since she's obviously trying to defeminize the dress, I gave her an equally edgy, but pretty pair of platforms. I do love her coin necklaces and super-straight hair. Her look is a refreshing change from all the leggings and scarves we've been bombarded with lately. Keep it up, Becki!
