Nicolas Ghesquière's Spring '08 collection for Balenciaga wasn't all too wearable but it was all together stunning. One of the trends that blossomed from that show were the multicolored weave footwear. Nicole Richie already got her feet on the boots, so let's also get in on the hot trend with these Spring/Summer-ready Sigerson Morrison T-Strap Woven Sandals ($425). They have the same black-and-white woven motif but they're much more comfortable. Oh, and considerably less pricey . . . $978 less to be exact!
Have I ever mentioned how drawn I am to T-strap flats? They're easy on the feet, and unlike regular ballet flats, they're multidimensional. If you're nodding your head, get this Yellow T-Strap Flat, size 8.5. Your Spring just won't be the same, or as colorful, without them.

Whoa, when did J.Crew get so fancy schmancy on us? These Antonia Glitteri T-Strap Heels, $225, are a modern fit for Cinderella. They also have a bit of The Great Gatsby in them because of the t-strap. What makes them super fabworthy is that they're glitzy without being over-the-top; and that's really hard to achieve when glitter is involved.
I wish I knew about these before going to a recent banquet. They would have definitely matched my Catherine Malandrino off-white dress. Oh well...next time!
You all know by now that I am a huge fan of gladiator sandals, even though my friends say I look like Hercules when I wear them. Whatever. These Lanvin Gladiator Sandals, $575, to me, are one of the best kinds out there. Worn with a pair of itty-bitty denim shorts and a simple white tee, they would look dazzling. If they're a bit out of your league, you'll be excited for the look for less...I sure was!
