I hope you have been enjoying our O.C. wardrobe tribute posts! Alas, all good things come to an end, as did The O.C. after a mere four seasons. Now I have to admit I totally lost interest after Marissa died in Season 3. Therefore I can't deliver a recap of the final season, but someone in another Sugar pod can! I did tune in a few times, but I just wasn't feeling it anymore. Did you all feel the same way? Nevertheless, with Marissa out of the picture, we had Taylor and Kaitlin wearing some cute duds for us to marvel at. Here is our fashion series finale.

Season Four

Season Three of The O.C. was the pinnacle for the show. Marissa gets kicked out of school for her shooting incident from Season Two, she then eventually goes off the deep end and turns to drugs & alcohol and relations with bad boy, Volchok. Kristin is recovering from her bouts with the bottle while Julie falls in love with Summer's dad - go figure. Adorable little blondie Anna & slightly annoying, but somewhat endearing, Taylor add comic relief. We re-meet Marissa's quickly grown up sassy little sis, Kaitlin. Also, Summer's style really evolves and she shows us her full beauty potential. All of this leading up to the foursome graduating, all from Harbor (yay!). Then, just when we thought they were home free and off to college, Marissa meets the ultimate doom and dies in a car accident. I for one, was totally crushed. On to the clothes, for which there were many cute ones this season!

Now we are venturing into my favorite season of The O.C. - Season Two. If I recall correctly, this was when things got really heated & sparks were flying between both Marissa & Ryan and Summer & Seth. By the end of the season, Kirstin was an alcoholic, Caleb R.I.P. and Marissa got a hold of a gun and shot you know who: the brother of her boyfriend! This was quite the action packed season. We thought with Summer right around the corner it would be fun to put together a wardrobe tribute for a guilty pleasure TV show that took place in a sublimely sunny part of the world: The O.C.. I for one was smitten by all the teen angst, with money, drama and the seemingly beautiful people. I wanted to hate Marissa for her unreal good looks and mood swings and Ryan for his violent temper and smoldering brow - but I just couldn't. And the parents were so cool, and beautiful too, albeit they had their own intriguing skeletons in their walk-in closets.

The O.C. set trends. Marissa inspired teenage, and er, twenty-somethings, to want to carry a Chanel handbag as their school book bag. Summer had a cute-as-a-button boho-California style that spawned my Marc by Marc Jacobs obsession and taught us all how to layer wisely. Kirsten and Julie had MILF written all over them. And, we all came to appreciate the cool dork in the Penguin polos: Seth. Without further ado...here is Season One. Stay tuned tomorrow for Season Two!
