Ashley Madekwe's Red Tweed Shorts Suit Is Classy and Sassy
Revenge star Ashley Madekwe attended an event across the pond at Harvey Nichols in London, and the ensemble she chose proved that tweed can be classy and sassy. The actress wore a matching red tweed shorts suit by Australian label Willow, then turned the ladylike fabric on its head by pairing it with a black crop top. Sexy black Christian Louboutin pointy pumps showed off some toe cleavage, while her glittery clutch added mega shine. Let Ashley inspire you to invest in a tweed shorts suit if you don't already have one. You can wear it with a silk blouse for a demure look, then follow Ashley's lead by sporting it with a crop top for a playful flair.

Trendspotting: The Need For Tweed
If you can't shake tweed's connotations of skirt suits and ladies who lunch, take a look at Hailee Steinfeld, Olivia Wilde, and Chloe Moretz in these trend-driven tweed looks. Fall's call to layer up works perfectly with rich, woven tweed textiles that act more as accent pieces than outfit basics. The tone's a little bookish the way Hailee outfits it in deep berry tones and a complementary white button-down while Olivia's version shows off its modern ladylike appeal on a chic coat. Still, our favorite might be Chloe's incarnation with a buckled miniskirt and neoprene-textured topper — this girl has "next style star" written all over her. The trend is strong on the runway, too, from the masterful, timeless tweeds at Chanel to the mixed-material tweeds at Alexander Wang and the brightly hued versions at Thakoon. How to Nail Fall's Tweed Trend Under $100
Thanks to Coco Chanel, one of our favorite things about Fall – besides pumpkin lattes — is tweed. Whether it's a tweedy skirt, pant, or jacket, we love how these pieces are simultaneously classic, yet new. The best part? They look amazing with pretty much anything; leather leggings, jeans, and biker jackets to name just a few examples. Sadly, we don't have the budget to afford the designer brand, but that doesn't mean you can't shop similar looks. To prove it to you, we collated our favorite tweed pieces all under $100 for you to shop to your heart's desire. Just read below for a few quick styling tips, then start shopping.

- For an office-chic look, pair a tweed pencil skirt with a silk blouse, black sheer tights, and platform pumps.
- You can't go wrong with a tweed jacket. Pair it with anything from a pair of jeans to a floral print dress.
- Add a tough spin to a tweed mini with black ankle boots and a leather jacket.

Forever 21 Belted Glove Skirt: Love It or Hate It?
I love me some tweed, but for this skirt, a cheeky accessory comes with. When I first spied the Forever 21 Belted Glove Skirt ($32), my reaction was a laugh. I debated pulling the belt off all together, but that misses the point, right? My gut tells me I don't want people smirking at my look. What's your take? Is it wearable or just for giggles?

The Look For Less: DKNY Embellished Trim Wool Jacket
There's something intriguing about a black jacket that has a hint of shine, like this DKNY Embellished Trim Wool Jacket ($504). It's totally classy and sassy at the same time — a modern Coco Chanel would wear it well. Since most modern Coco Chanels are budget conscious, I hunted down a less expensive version that is twice as nice.

The Look For Less: Smythe Tweed Slouchy Boyfriend Blazer
I already have a tweed Chanel-inspired jacket, but I don't have a cool tweed blazer . . . This Smythe Tweed Slouchy Boyfriend Blazer ($550) is bound to add a smart edge to any ensemble. It would look especially dapper with a pair of liquid leggings and some black-rimmed glasses. Unfortunately, I can't afford to dish that much on a blazer right now.

eBay Find of the Week
You must have noticed the tweed rage these days. Everyone is wearing it in some form. I loved Olivia Palermo's tweed H&M shorts so much, I got the matching jacket recently. While most tweed jackets are cropped, this Vintage Gray Stone Tweed Coat, size small, is equally chic. It looks good open and closed, and the black piping and big buttons are super cute. Especially if you live in cold climate, I suggest bundling up with this tweed-tastic piece.
