Forget Cannes, the fashion action is in Venice. Or at least it was momentarily. Karl decided to show his 2010 Cruise collection in the sinking city of Venice (sad). And by the looks if it, it was nothing short of fabulous (not so sad). Inspired by Venetian high-society of the '30s, this collection is ultra elegant. And those Renaissance reds — definitely something a Venetian Dangerous Beauty would have worn. Gowns were slim and luxurious, cocktail dresses were dramatic, tweeds were ever-covetable, and a slight Spanish flair occurred via ruffles and lace. In keeping with the recent '90s Supermodel comeback, Tatjana Patitz closed the show, Karl in tow. One word: bellissima.

Mena Suvari is selling her 2,442-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 2-bath in Venice, California for $1,795,000, according to Real Estalker. The beautiful craftsman property went into contract a mere 45 days after it was first listed — record time! Suvari purchased the property in June 2005, shortly after her marriage with cinematographer Robert Brinkmann went south. The listing for the property reads:

Remember when Mýa and the North Shore Animal League kicked off the Tour For Life just a couple weeks ago? Well, now that the cross-country adoption drives have their engines up and running, check out all the people who cruised in for yesterday's event featuring pets from the North Shore Animal League America and the Los Angeles Department of Animal Services at Venice Beach, CA. I love to see celebrities backing good causes, and this certainly counts as a great one. This month-long cooperative initiative with animal shelters across the country not only raises public awareness about the plights of all shelter pets, it also helps hundreds of orphaned dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens find their forever homes.
