>> The pajama-inspired trend, as seen on Michael Kors, Vena Cava, and Alexander Wang's Spring runway, offers a languid approach to both daytime and nighttime dressing. If you're looking to add a languid touch to your wardrobe, outside of your boudoir, try out these pieces from the designers above, plus more from Walter, Thakoon, ASOS, and Topshop.
Look of the Day: Getting Vesty
Fab reader frillsandruffles has a little Fall dress code reminder: she's getting vesty — and we're into it. Layering up a cozy-cool vest is one way to give florals and prints a little edge. Just cinch with a bold belt and go — seasonal perfection.
Here's what she has on:
Vest: Forever 21
Skirt: Walter
Belt: Banana Republic
Shoes: Gucci
Congrats to frillsandruffles!

Trend Alert: Summer Silk
What's sexier than sexy? Summer silk. What's even sexier? Olivia Palermo's front-row flirt, Johannes Huebl, at the Armani Privé Couture show. Focus. Now, I don't recommend Summer silk if you are in a humid climate; this classic should flow in a warm breeze, not stick to you or expose sweat stains. But if you seek something subtly seductive for a date or dinner party — or front-row couture — a lightweight blouse or tank is the perfect piece. Pair with anything: cropped jeans, a pencil skirt, cargo pants, itty-bitty shorts, and let Summer sillk be your guide . . .
Look of the Day: Shopping With the Boys
Well, for jennyjenny it's clear that shopping with the boys won't detract from being a girl. Actually, what I love about this look is that it's totally fit to hang with the boys or chill with the girls. Her Fab fedora is cool, and a just a little moody, balancing the whimsy of her printed pink mini. Cross-body bag, oversize shades, sandals, and cardi are the style staples that make it click.
Here's what she has on:
Top: Easel
Sweater: Forever 21
Hat: H&M
Skirt: Walter
Belt: Banana Republic
Sunglasses: Christian Dior
Flip Flops: Billabong
Purse: Miu Miu
Congrats to jennyjenny!

Celeb Style: Zoe Saldana
It's official: Zoe Saldana is a Fab favorite. Just look at her! She took the style spotlight at the Louis Vuitton and Glamour magazine's "Most Glamorous" issue party. Her pink trippy print pouf dress is absolutely adorable, while tan patent Brian Atwood pumps and a sparkling cropped jacket polish things off. Round white earrings and a hot pink visi-bra sass things up. I've died and gone to fashion heaven.

Gossip Style: Blair Waldorf
Blair Waldorf looks like a Southern belle in this scene from Gossip Girl as she sits sipping a mint julep with a grimace on her face. Her seafoam chiffon dress and pink cloche make for a colorful ensemble, and her diamond key Tiffany pendant acts as the perfect accessory. Although her exact Walter dress is no longer available online, this J. Crew one has the same "just another day at the races" appeal. Shop it all here.

Trend Alert: Resort Time Maxis
If you're part of the lucky bunch who is jetsetting to paradise this holiday, do not leave home without at least one Resort time maxi. But the real beauty is: You don't need to leave your hometown to wear such a fabulous frock. Actress Jennifer Morrison wore her Missoni to an InStyle soiree only appearing to have transported herself. She looked like she just got back from a relaxing rendezvous; whether she actually did or not remains a mystery . . .
Trend Alert: Peek-a-Boo You
I have a tendency to seriously cover up when the weather is gelid. In an effort to let our skin breathe, I say peek-a-boo you. Spring will be all about sensuality so get a jumpstart with some sexy cut outs, sheer fabrics and keyhole necklines. I know it's cold outside, but don't we always want to look hot?
Trend Alert: Winter Yellow
Fab old-timers may recall that Winter yellow is not a new trend: Kylie Minogue brightened up last Winter with a chipper coat that we all loved. Well, we can all continue the love because yellow is not going anywhere. The happy hue even made its way onto the set of the Sex and the City movie — furry friend included. Blake Lively recently looked radiant in golden Michael Kors while Phillip Lim lightened up his Resort collection with a spritz. Want to wear something unexpected for New Years? Here's your chance . . .
