Highlights from the Diane von Furstenberg runway at the Fall 2010 New York Fashion Week. A bit of disco, retro flair with pop colors, prints, and bright floral chiffon. Gold lamé was all over the collection - from vests to mini-dresses. The collection also included an embellished variation of her famous wrap dress with sparkles and ruffled tiers.
Simply Fab: Calypso Satin Convertible Wrap Dress
I've already been a bridesmaid one too many times in my life. Can you sense the lack of enthusiasm in my voice, er words? If my friends had let me wear this Calypso Satin Convertible Wrap Dress ($270), my outlook on bridesmaid fashion would be very different. What I love about it is that it can be worn eight different ways . . . or more, if you're super creative. As if that wasn't Fab enough, it's hand washable. Gorgeous and low-maintenance? Nice.

Simply Fab: Diane von Furstenberg Fashion Emergency Kit

Did you gals know that the W Hotel has an online store chock full of cute items? One of my favorite things up for grabs is this Diane von Furstenberg Fashion Emergency Kit, $320. It includes, you guessed it, a DVF black wrap dress, a thong and a garment bag. You know, for one of those times when that jerk spills red wine on your white dress.
Fret not: all you'll have to do is bust the kit out of your suitcase and slip it on for a quick change. Poof! It's fashion magic minus the cheesy top hat and wand.
