The Dark Knight has stylishly swept Hilary Duff off her feet, and if you're feeling her look, join in the action and spread your wings Batman-style. Batwing cuts are the perfect transition piece for dwindling Summer months, and when worn in dark colors with booties — a la Hilary Duff — give you a fun, witchy vibe.
Product Review: Paul & Joe Refreshing Leg Emulsion
Last month, Paul & Joe launched a few new nail and body products for Summer 2008. Of the bunch, my favorite product is the Refreshing Leg Emulsion ($30). This citrusy-mint scented lotion is actually formulated with oil to penetrate deep into your skin, however, it dries to a powdery, velvety-soft finish. It's cool — and I mean that literally, because it also contains baby peppermint leaves and elderflower extract to create a cooling effect on your legs.
If you really work it into your skin (as directed), it helps to reduce some of the swelling and inflammation that tends to occur in the heat and humidity of the Summer. In turn, it will also help improve the rate of absorption and your blood circulation.
It goes on super-creamy and has an intense sheen that gives your legs a healthy-looking glow. Within a few moments, you'll feel a slight tingle and a pleasant coolness as the air mixes with the lotion.
This French brand has recently become available in the U.S. You can order it from any of these locations or you can call the Bergdorf Goodman Paul & Joe counter directly at 212-872-2759.

Life's a Beach: So Fresh and So Clean

There really is only one season you can wear white, on the feet that is. In the Fall or Winter, white sandals just don't feel right. As always, you can prove me wrong. But you have to admit Heidi Montag's white Chanel flats are mighty cute, admittedly, so is the rest of her sleek outfit. Heidi knows how it feels to be so fresh and so clean; you may also recall the dope white Jimmy Choos she wore to the MTV Movie Awards. Enough about Heidi, white sandals provide a blank canvas for just about any look. It's so easy.
Trend Alert: Shake Your Groove Thing
There's nothing better to shake your groove thing in than a disco-inspired jumpsuit. It's slightly different than a romper with shorts in that it's less resort-like and more dressy. We touched on the subject earlier this year because we had a hunch it would become a major Spring craze. And we were right. Emmanuelle Chriqui (in Stella McCartney), Rihanna (in Sonia Rykiel), Gwyneth Paltrow (in Stella McCartney), Diane Kruger, Helena Christensen . . . all these ladies have already shaken their groove thang, and you should, too.

The Look for Less: Paul & Joe Crepe Short Jumpsuit Tuxedo

I'm jumping for jumpers this season — kinda corny, but it's true. They're a good alternative to wearing shorts or dresses and they're so much fun! This Paul & Joe Ruffle Crepe Short Jumpsuit Tuxedo ($185, originally $370) is super cute and unique. I love the ruffle detailing but it's a bit pricey for something that's not necessarily dressy and yet not casual enough to wear often. What's a girl to do?

Trend Alert: Off Shoulder Styles

What's your favorite body part? On you, I mean. One of mine is my shoulders. I've been told they're, you know, sexy. You would think I would be partial to off shoulder styles then. Well, I am. They are dead sexy, no? The only buzz kill is the whole what-kind-of-bra-to-wear-with-it dilemma. No matter, it's decided: These are sexy, my shoulders are sexy, so won't you join me and be sexy too?
Fab Flash: Geren Ford, Charlotte Ronson, and More Collaborate With Urban Outfitters

After seeing the success at Target, H&M, Topshop, and the like, Urban Outfitters is jumping into the designer collaboration fray.
The retailer has tapped Geren Ford, Steven Alan, Charlotte Ronson, Paul & Joe Sister, and Corpus to each design mini collections for their stores.
The first collection to hit the racks is Hawks by Geren Ford in May (left), which includes cotton drawstring jackets, knit camis, silk tops, and cotton-blend dresses priced $48-$128. Back-to-school and holiday collections follow in August and December, respectively. We all love UO so this sounds promising!
Trend Alert: Silk Utilitarian
Silk has a new look; it's more relaxed but hardened with tough details. This new silk utilitarian twist is more wearable and comfortable. Silk tops, jumpers, pants, and accessories have been updated with drawstrings, zippers and cargo pockets to lend a simultaneously chic and casual look. Gianfranco Ferre (left) went casual-lux with this zippered grape silk mechanic pantsuit. Now, buying silk can be an investment so I provided a couple silk-like items for you to wear this slick trend without stretching your wallet. As always, have fun . . .
Trend Alert: Bib Fronts
Though the name isn't very alluring, bib fronts are a sweet front detail for an array of tops and dresses. Named after one of the first articles of clothing we ever wore — a bib — I do not encourage you to make a mess all over these feminine pieces. To add some romance to a look, the bib front serves its purpose once again.
