For those of us who took the Winter off to, ahem, hibernate, Spring brings with it a renewed dedication to fitness. Extracurricular activities, especially the ones that make us sweat, mean carrying even more stuff with us throughout the day. To seamlessly get through breakfast meetings, devoted desk time, a workout class at your favorite boutique gym, and all the commuting in between — a lady needs the right bag. What you need is a roomy, durable, and chic bag to transport all your gear and fitness essentials on the daily.

There are two rules double-duty carryalls need to follow in our book: they should be easy to carry (either messenger-style or over your shoulder), and they should easily close to completion. Zip-top tote bags, duffles, and even backpacks are great for this. Luggage brands like Longchamp and Tumi make nylon bags that also do the trick. Source: Getty / Marc Piasecki
