I swore by these Mama Spanx Power Mid Thigh Shapers (£28) when I was pregnant and would wear them under dresses, jeans and trousers because they are so comfortable and because they also make your legs and bum feel just a wee bit tighter and thinner when your clothing becomes quite tight. They are available in black or nude and make a great gift because it's something that you wouldn't want to spend money on yourself, but would be very excited to own!
