MTV Movie Awards: Love It or Hate It Round Up

MTV Movie Awards Trend: The LBD
The LBD (that's Little Black Dress in case you were wondering) was all over the MTV Movie Awards pink carpet last night, but these weren't your run-of-the-mill black dresses. All of these ladies managed to make their LBDs something special. My very favorite was Cameron Diaz in her little micro-mini polka dot number.
MTV Movie Awards Trend: Bare Necks
I don't know if you noticed, but the majority of stars at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards chose not to wear anything around their necks. Amanda Bynes was one of the very few who decorated her décolletage. Everyone else kept their bling to a minimum, allowing their dresses to take center stage.
MTV Movie Awards Trend: Bold Hues
Bold Hues were abundant on the red carpet, whether they were peeping through under a dress a la Posh or in your face color like Mandy Moore, Heidi Montag, Ashley Tisdale, Debbie Matenopoulos, and Jessica Alba. Out of all of these girls, I think my favorite bold hue outfits were Jessica Alba's fresh clean look and Mandy Moore's classy take. Posh's pink bra made her already loud outfit a little too loud for my taste, and Heidi Montag's dress (nightgown?) was a little too revealing - it should have been saved for the bedroom.

We had a great time analyzing each lady's MTV Movie Awards Pink Carpet look right along with you. Here are the six ladies who are leading the polls for best dressed. My favorite was Cameron Diaz.
MTV Movie Awards: Vanessa and Angela Simmons
Rev Runs' daughters Angela and Vanessa are wearing two very different looks here. Vanessa (on the left) opted for a LBD, while her little sister Angela chose tiger print and some sequins. The black dress is more my style.
MTV Movie Awards: Fergie
Fergie Ferg, unfortunately you've given me nothing to really say. I find your LBD to be pretty nondescript, your hair to be pretty nondescript, and your makeup, well, it follows the same pattern. But I guess I could say that you don't look bad!
MTV Movie Awards: Jessica Biel
Apparently Jessica and Cameron are not only sharing men, they are sharing outfit inspiration as well! Although Jessica's LBD is not quite as short as Cameron's, it is still pretty darn revealing. All I can say is that I wish I could rock it.
MTV Movie Awards: Victoria Beckham
What's black and white and pink all over? Why, that would be Posh and her loud little dress! You know, the hair has grown on me, but this outfit, it has just taken all that progress away.
MTV Movie Awards: Cameron Diaz
Okay, Cameron is officially wearing the LBD of all red-carpet LBDs! Though it's short enough to be mistaken for a shirt, I think this black strapless, polka dot number looks amazing on her. The polka dots reflect her playful side, while the silhouette shows off her sexiness.
