2008 spawned a tremendous flurry of fabulous Fashion Week shows. Let's see, there were New York Fall and Spring shows, Milan Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, and LA Fashion Week. Oh, and don't forget all of the ravishing Resort and Pre-Fall collections. Some of my faves were Proenza Schouler's Fall line, Alexander Wang's Spring offerings, and Balmain's Spring collection in Paris. All different, all divine. Which were your favorites? I never thought I'd use the words London Fashion Week and wildlife in the same sentence, but that day has come my Fabbies. Wildlife Works, a company created in 1997 to protect wilderness habitats, made its fashion debut at last week's London Fashion Week, and there's no tree-hugging styles here . . .

"We're serious business people. This is not a mission-led proposition. It's all about the fashion taking off. We are a fashion brand that responds to the consumer in the developed market. Who Wore It Better? Luella Floral Mini Dress

Luella's lighthearted frocks are spreading joy everywhere these days. Kelly Osbourne wore the designer's floral mini dress to the South Bank Show Awards with black opaque tights and red earrings. Kimberly Stewart wore the same dress to the opening of H&M on Regent Street in London with a tied blue cardigan and black tights. Both ladies look hip, but who wins your heart?

Fab Flash: Pink Eye Takes London Fashion Week By Storm (Ew)

Agyness Deyn's funky eyewear this week wasn't just a function of her quirky taste, it turns out. The model, who sported Max Headroom-like sunglasses at The Elle Style Awards earlier this week, and then an eye patch at her best friend Henry Holland's show yesterday, is suffering from pink eye.

The highly contagious eye infection is reportedly sweeping the models at London Fashion Week, and may cause some of them to have to sit the rest of the week out. Gross! Now this makes me glad I'm not a model . . .

London Fashion Week, Fall 2008: Christopher Kane

London darling Christopher Kane has gone mad for paillettes. While you will also see lots of sheerness in his Fall collection, the two textures complement each other brilliantly. Texture play is a major theme for Kane and proving to be one of his strengths.

The dresses are the winners here, with their fluid lines and interesting compositions. The separates - boxy jackets and flared skirts - are more wearable than previous collections of his. The jackets in particular have an armor-like beading that creates high drama. And those, paillettes; Kane couldn't get enough, and neither can I.

Ossie Clark Fall 2008: Love It or Hate It?

The famous '60s London label Ossie Clark has been resurrected - and its comeback was staged on day two of London Fashion Week. Hitting the catwalk as part of the Fall '08 collection was this vibrant red ruffled blouse, A-line navy skirt, and teal shoe combo: are you loving it? I sort of am.

Fab Flash: London Fashion Week Is Making a Comeback

In recent seasons, headlining British designers like Matthew Williamson, Stella McCartney, and Luella Bartley have returned to show on their home turf during London Fashion Week. Even Marc Jacobs chose to present his Marc by Marc Jacobs show in London a couple seasons ago.

Today, more proof that London is experiencing a fashion capital renaissance comes with a new coup d'etat: Vivienne Westwood, who has shown in Paris since the early '80s, is reportedly planning to unveil one or more of her Fall 2008 collections at London Fashion Week in February.
