And so, I present to you my favorites from the star-studded red carpet. This time, there was no one stand-out dress. Three ladies were Fab top to bottom, beginning with your best-dressed Heidi Klum . . . </p> <p><span class="inline left"></span></p> <p>So she wasn't up for an award. Heidi wins <a href="http://fabsugar.com/1070562?r=headline" >your best-dressed vote</a> and mine - so that should make Heidi even more happy. Heidi confessed she worked with John Galliano on <a href="http://fabsugar.com/1069282" >the custom Dior</a> - that is <a href="http://fabsugar.com/1025254" >up for auction</a> benefiting women's heart health. I wonder whose idea it was to go over-the-top regal red. No matter, it was a great collaboration. From the high collar to the grandiose train, this dramatic gown saved the runway from a boring demise. </p> <p><a href="http://fabsugar.com/1072606" >Her pink diamond earrings</a>, fuchsia clutch, and candy-colored jewels brought the look to a flirtatious place. I've professed <a href="http://fabsugar.com/slideshow/1062322" >my love for black on the red carpet</a> and this is the perfect example of why: It's dramatic, unique, and worn with confidence. Though it's strapless - a neckline I am <i>so</i> over - it's a plumage-infused one. Also, she added a splash of red with her Chopard earrings. I am very nit picky about fit on the red carpet - there is no excuse for a dress not fitting correctly. She went all out with <a href="http://bellasugar.com/1069788" >red lips and bouncy hair</a> and <a href="http://fabsugar.com/1072606" >her cylindrical diamond earrings</a> are awesome. Her waist looks teensy and her shoulders sexy - especially the left one with the circle detailing. Glen Hansard and Marketa Iglova from the gorgeous Irish movie <b>Once</b> sang beautifully, and their reaction when they won brought tears to my eyes - what can I say? I'm a wuss. First off, let's not blame Jon Stewart for the probably least watched Oscars ever. It wasn't his fault they had no time to prepare which left us watching montage after montage. The pregnancy joke was inevitable - too bad Jolie wasn't even there to accept her pseudo-award. It also wasn't Jon's fault that it took over an hour before a big actor award was handed out. When that time came, Javier took the stage with a smile. Expected winner, Daniel Day-Lewis kissed his fellow nominee George Clooney on his way up to grab his little gold man. Of the many <b>Enchanted</b> performances, my favorite was the adorable Kristin Chenoweth singing, "That's How You Know." One pleasant surprise was seeing Owen Wilson presenting Best Live Action Short. We're also very happy to see <b>Juno</b> win something! >jet hued gowns of Oscars past</a>? Call it red carpet ESP, or a mere coincidence, but many ladies dared to go bold in noir colored gowns at this year's Oscars. Some of them I love - Penelope's feathery Chanel and Swank's embellished Versace - and some fell flat for me, mainly, Garner's ruffled Oscar de la Renta.
