Everyone's opinions are always welcome on Fab. I think we can all agree that last night's SAG awards brought out a bevy of beautiful dresses. Whether they were intended for the Golden Globes or not, I say it's always better to overdress than underdress — especially when a red carpet is involved.

Ah, finally a big red carpet event for us to get all excited about! We were certainly going through withdrawals and we were hoping for an exciting SAG Awards. Luckily, the stars did not disappoint.
SAG Awards Trend Alert: Ice Queens
Despite the vibrant background of the 2008 SAG Awards red carpet, there were quite a number of Ice Queens present. Brittany Snow, Eva Longoria Parker, Ashley Tisdale, Teri Hatcher, and Christina Applegate all donned white washed gowns with twinkling embellishments, and perhaps started a new red carpet trend! But these ladies weren't at all stone cold; they rocked ear-to-ear smiles and dazzled in their frosty looks.

Thank goodness there's no more reason to be depressed about the lack of red carpets. Nonetheless, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Andrea Bowen, Amanda Bynes, Jenna Fischer, and Marcia Cross all still brought the blues . .

Here is my second favorite part of any red carpet show down: Letting you all decide who was the best dressed of the night. These final six were narrowed down by your votes and I tell ya, this is a toughie. We concluded that because the Golden Globes were a no-go, ladies decided to strut their stuff in high style for the SAGs.

Kate was nowhere to be seen on the red carpet, but she popped up as a presenter during the SAG awards looking Fab, per usual. Her unique beaded flowy strapless Balmain dress exuded her laid back bohemian style . .

God bless America (Ferrera)! Her grey lace Monique Lhuillier gown has added some delight to the carpet tonight. It fits like a glove and stands out despite the grey hue.
