Models are always welcomed at Met's Costume Institute Gala, but since last night's exhibit was all about them, they felt way more at home. Current models like Hana Soukupova, Coco Rocha, and Isabeli Fontana mixed and mingled with classics like Stella Tennant, Alek Wek, and Maggie Rizer, as well as old-school Supers Amber Valletta, Kristen McMenamy, and Nadja Auermann (left). It was a site to be seen; one that melted my heart. Every one of them ruled, and one young blond model even came on the arm of a Hollywood actor! Let the model mania begin . . .

The "Oscars of the Fashion World" did not disappoint tonight as the stars, models, fashionistas, socialites and designers ascended the red staircase at the Costume Institute Gala at the Met in New York City. The fashion was center stage as Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss and Justin Timberlake hosted the glamorous event. We caught the good, the bad and the over-the-top dramatic. I wonder if Chanel Iman imagined one day she would be up against her model idol Iman. It's times like this you better believe my job can be challenging. The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Leighton Meester

Gossip Girl Leighton Meester bravely walked the red carpet wearing a psychedelic paisley print avant-garde confection by Louis Vuitton. The dress and matching tights are a little over the top for my liking, but props to Meester for trying new things. Satin Louis Vuitton ankle wrap pumps (Victoria Beckham wore a similar pair ), jeweled bangles, and cherry-red lips top her doll-like ensemble. Do you love it or hate it?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria and her hubby Tony walked the red carpet together tonight. Eva is no stranger to looking sultry, so it's not surprising that her Diane von Furstenberg dress has a huge cleavage-revealing keyhole. A metallic chain-link necklace toughens her up a smidgen. Verdict?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Ivanka Trump

Ivanka Trump doesn't need much to stun, but a little Brian Reyes never hurt anyone. Her nude tulle gown exudes beautiful sophistication. Note how the slim back belt calls attention to her waist - nice. For accessories, Ivanka chose silver drop earrings and bangles from her own jewelry line, satin Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps, and Judith Leiber clutch. What do you think?
