It's official: I can't go one month without buying something from Zara. What better way to get geared up for my monthly visit than with a quick peruse of its November arrivals? Winter cozies span the rainbow of sumptuous sweaters, divine faux fur toppers, structured coats, crisp separates, and flirty frocks. Ann Taylor has really stepped it up these days. The retailer adopted a more trend-conscious aesthetic and it recently hired Heidi Klum to be its cashmere model! I'm quite impressed by its Fall collection. There is a look for every girl and the styling has been executed flawlessly. Casual denim, puffer jackets, coats, and wow-worthy red dresses and skirts are all must haves. I'm thinking this Wool Bow Coat ($295) needs to come home with me. Proceed to shop my favorite looks.

Anthropologie's November catalog is a surefire way to get in the holiday spirit. British model Jacquetta Wheeler - dressed in everything from pretty lace to cozy sweaters - is seen frolicking in (faux) snow. It's all so romantic. I can't help but be consumed by the impressive styling, and I'm sure CasaSugar is mesmerized by the rustic scene. Granted, not everyone wears shorts in the snow, but I adore Jacquetta's outfit here; a little checkers, a little wool, equals a lot of charm. Experience it for yourself.

I can see why Scarlett Johansson's been busy jet-setting around the world to promote her latest ad campaign for Mango.The sexy actress looks sizzling hot showing off the Spanish retailer's array of minidresses, tailored blazers, perfectly ripped sweaters (my fave), and funky tunics. ScarJo's messy short bob has major ferosh factor and works in perfectly with Mango's hip offerings. I can't wait for that jewel-embellished miniskirt to hit stores!

Forever 21's Fall look book is set at a quaint, old-fashioned cafe in Paris. Ooh la la. So, naturally, the collection is made up of cozy chic pieces - dressed-up sweaters, skirts with sheen, flirty capes, tweed trenches, and thick plaid scarves. Notice the way they're all thrown together in that effortless Parisian way. But the more severe, less romantic girl has not been overlooked. For her, there are studded faux leather jackets, lace-up ankle boots, striped cardigans, and leather shorts. Get a Fall glimpse, then shop to your heart's desire.

Look Book Love: Madewell's Fall Goodies

Most of my Fall shopping is complete, but Madewell has convinced me there's always room for a little more. Its look book is filled with cozy cool options offering up rail-straight cords - my favorite is this soft blush hue - sweet sweaters, polished coats, and awesome boots. This heather oatmeal funnel scarf will surely come in handy for chilly mornings and I know I'd wear this green parka to death. Somehow, Madewell always manages to make the simplest things look so cool. Color me inspired.

Many models are forming lineups these days - luckily, not for the police, but rather for Fall's hottest ad campaigns. I've been noticing many lineup-style ads lately, and I quite like them because they cut out the frills and bring us face to face with the matter at hand: the creations. That, and the industry's most gorgeous models. DKNY's Fall '09 lineup - starring Bette Franken, Behati Prinsloo, Daiane Conterato, Anna Gushina, and more - is structured, with the girls standing sturdy, shoulder to shoulder. Jones New York's lineup with Anja Rubik, Caroline Trentini, Isabeli Fontana, and Liya Kebede is more friendly and lively. Both showcase the clothes flawlessly, but which ad lineup wins?

Look Book Love: The Lake & Stars, Fall '09

Fall is all about bundling up, but after experiencing The Lake & Stars Fall look book, I would rather strip down. It's romantic and brooding, innocent and old-fashioned, rolled into one. I am especially smitten with the coquettish triangle bras, and though they don't provide much support, they're lovely for a night in. I wonder if I can wear one over a tee during the day. Sheer, lace, peach, satin . . . whoever wears plain underthings because no one sees them ought to reconsider. Shopbop currently has a few The Lake & Stars pieces on sale, so take a dip.
