Spring sees New Look picking up a bit of an American vibe with Katy Perry style burlesque pieces, bright animal prints and Hollywood wife style dresses. One section of the new range was a mix of Perry's style and
Christina Aguilera's Candyman video providing a fun twist on classic burlesque. Think
sailor chic with a lot of glitter.
Earlier this week I was invited to the top of Center Point in London to view the upcoming Spring collection from
Warehouse. There is something slightly bizarre (and depressing) about looking at pretty floaty summer dresses when you're currently wearing three jumpers and a coat but it's never too early to start planning! I am much more of a fan of Summer than Winter clothes so it was nice to get a preview of next season.
The spaceage trousers have not hit stores yet but they've already been adopted by Agyness Deyn and Katie Grand! The silver leather trousers were part of
Giles' Spring 2009 line and were worn by Agyness Deyn at the aftershow party. Katie Grand, who is a close friend of Giles Deacon, wore the same trousers to Tuesday night's
British Fashion Awards.

French actress Marion Cotillard appears to be standing at the edge of the Eiffel Tower to fulfill her modeling duties as the face of Christian Dior's Lady Dior handbags. Of course, the always-handy Photoshop has made it possible for this shot to be fantastical.

has chosen Katie Holmes to be the face of its Spring campaign. Details are still under wraps but we do know that the ads were shot last week — hence the smokey eye makeup residue caught on Holmes face seen left. With Miu Miu's past history of choosing celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan,
Kirsten Dunst, and

This morning it has been announced that Matthew Williamson will create a capsule collection for
H&M for Summer 2009. Hot on the heels of Rei Kawakabo of Comme des Garcons who
launched a capsule collection just a few weeks ago, Williamson will produce mens and womenswear for the High Street store. The womenswear will debut on 23rd April and then May will see Williamsons first ever foray in to menswear.
The great Vivienne Westwood showed her Gold Label Spring '09 collection to London's fashion elite last night. Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, and Mick Jagger's daughters watched as the wildly clad models pranced the bright red catwalk. Vivienne is certainly not shy in her designs.

designing cruelty-free guard uniforms for the queen and pumping out an
amazing Spring collection, Stella's busy creating sweet undergarments. Her Spring collection of bras, panties, and slips is comprised of pretty prints and neutral tones. Doesn't the soft lace and silky fabrics make you yearn for the warm Spring breeze?
