Golden Globe Awards Ballot Contest: We Have a Winner!

Thanks to everyone who filled out our 2009 Golden Globe Awards ballot! The official kickoff to awards season was a blast, and it was great to have all of you participating in the fun. But as you know, there could only be one winner who's taking home a 160 GB Apple TV and $200 from iTunes (I'm really jealous).

I watched the Golden Globes with a group of loud friends on Sunday so last night, after watching highlights from the big show, I was glad to finally hear Kate Winslet's acceptance speech. Through her emotional words, she was able to passionately tell her husband and director of Revolutionary Road, that she loved every second of working with him on the film and that it made her love him more.

Being able to fall in love with your significant other over and over again must be one of the secrets to having a long-lasting, successful relationship. So tell me, what are the little things that make you love your partner even more than you already do?

Do You Wish All Awards Shows Were Strictly About Handing Out Awards?

The Golden Globes are so much fun to watch, what with the drinking, rowdiness, and funny mix of beloved movie actors and TV stars. As the show clicked along, it occurred to me that it's still so fun even though there aren't any musical numbers - or even a host!

It's wonderfully efficient, and we get right down to the business of winners and speeches. On the other hand, there's zero opportunity for things like this Josh Groban performance at the Emmys.

So tell me: Do you wish all awards shows slashed the extra stuff the way the Globes does?

How-To: Megan Fox's Hair at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards

I've gotta hand it to Megan Fox for this hairstyle. Whether or not you're a fan of this actress or the look, it definitely seems like a hard one to pull off. From the front, it appears like any other slicked-back style, but it's actually a French twist created with two sections instead of just one. If you were loving this updo, find out how Fekkai stylist Renato Campora created it when you

Apply Fekkai Coiff Controle to damp hair, then brush and dry it.
Section the top of the hair aside and tease the bottom all the way around.
Add Pomade Cristal and create texture by pulling the bottom portion of the hair to one side and twist. Secure with pins.
Join the top portion of hair to the rest of the hair by following in the direction of the twist, tucking and pinning it all away.
Finish off the super sleek look with Glossing Sheer Shine Mist.
