Today's musical bests came out for the American Music Awards, and several of them did so in style. There wasn't a lot of color or drama, but detailing and shimmer made up for it. Taylor Swift looked sweet in a beaded one shouldered dress, while Alicia Keys looked exotic in navy and a bindi.

I am guilty of grabbing the same old vintage black clutch when I'm running out the door, but I am inspired to consider a switcharoo, or two. Though I love my black clutch, a contrasting clutch shows the world you have fun with fashion, you don't always play it safe.
