Last night's Hollywood Life 6th Annual Style Awards brought out a gaggle of fashionably dressed stars. Lauren Conrad, Amber Valletta, Sophia Bush, and Selena Gomez were just some of the Fab attendees. There was a lot of black on the red carpet, but Lauren brightened things up in her floral Mara Hoffman frock. Step past the velvet rope to see some gorgeous frocks and to witness the after-party fun. Then once you're out, vote on the best dressed.

Amber Valletta Goes Wide-Legged: Love It or Hate It?

Amber Valletta - whose clothing line launches in November - recently rang the closing bell at the NASDAQ in NYC. Though we don't normally see the Super in loose clothing, she decided to keep things rather professional. But is the route she took the most stylish one? You decide. Up top she wore a cobalt Jenni Kayne top with bold shoulders, and on bottom, wide-leg, high-waisted black pants also by Kayne. She finished her ensemble with a silver bangle and no other jewels. What say you - does this outfit work?

Guess who's starring inside V Magazine's upcoming 61st issue? Amber Valletta, that's who. The model took the Fall slot looking stylishly stealth in a black and white editorial shot by Hedi Slimane. I'm loving the gritty array of denim and range of avant-garde to casual tops. Her striking eyes are magnetizing and pulling her hair away from her face exemplifies her striking cheek bones. Take note of how stylist Clare Richardson geniusly combined high/low brands from the likes of Benetton, H&M, Levi’s, Hudson, Uniqlo, Dolce & Gabbana to create a dirty yet divine vibe. I'm inspired, are you?

The World Oceans Day celebration brought out a gaggle of well-dressed women to the Hudson Terrace in NYC. Supermodel and now-designer Amber Valletta attended the fête wearing a strapless silver Oscar de la Renta Resort 2010 dress that has an interesting origami detail on the skirt. In an attempt to toughen the look up, she paired it with black peep-toe booties with pearl detail. Her black-satin clutch and rhinestone necklace spice her up some more. Model Mania at Met's Costume Institute Gala!

Models are always welcomed at Met's Costume Institute Gala, but since last night's exhibit was all about them, they felt way more at home. Current models like Hana Soukupova, Coco Rocha, and Isabeli Fontana mixed and mingled with classics like Stella Tennant, Alek Wek, and Maggie Rizer, as well as old-school Supers Amber Valletta, Kristen McMenamy, and Nadja Auermann (left). It was a site to be seen; one that melted my heart. Every one of them ruled, and one young blond model even came on the arm of a Hollywood actor! Let the model mania begin . . .

I remember it like it was yesterday: I was 8 years old, it was Saturday morning, and I was watching one of my favorite TV programs, Fashion File. And there she appeared, Amber Valletta, with her BFF Shalom Harlow goofing around backstage at a fashion show. Those two were inseparable, but I always had eyes for Amber. She was not your typical sexy blonde. Rather, she was slightly sporty but still irresistibly pretty. She teetered between girl-next-door and unattainable beauty. That chiseled bone structure, those gorgeous green eyes, that slim but fit bod - they were the reasons she made it big time and even scored a hosting gig on MTV's House of Style. Reminiscing makes me long for those days when Amber ruled. Now married with a kid, the Super continues to command attention like she did when she was a newbie. She comes around at fashion soirees, and I still get as excited to see her as I did that one Saturday morning . . .

It never fails. Put together celebs, shopping, alcohol, and presto: the latest news. While attending the eco-fabulous Loomstate for Target soiree earlier this week, Amber Valletta spilled the beans on her latest endeavor: fashion design. “As much as I love fashion and as much as it has supported me, I see how extreme and extravagant it is,” said Valletta, who is collaborating on a women's clothing collection to be announced this Summer. Details are still under way, but judging from her statement, it looks like the actress/model maven will be creating a somewhat affordable line of goodies.

Fab Ad: Iceberg Fall '08

I thought it couldn't get any hotter with Mischa's Summer '08 ad, but I was wrong. Striking a svelte pose is Iceberg's newest queen: Amber Valletta.

In the Fall '08 campaign, Valletta takes on a slick attitude to go with Iceberg's angular and voluminous cut designs. I like how her pale face and blond hair contrast against her dark and stormy eyes. She looks possessed. Possessed by high fashion.
