Anja Rubik definitely made a hot impression at the Met Gala tonight - the model stunned in a supersexy white Anthony Vaccarello gown, and got a proverbial "leg up" on Angelina Jolie's Oscars look with her sultry red carpet poses while walking with the designer. Anja didn't wear much jewelry, save for chandelier earrings and a slinky pair of black chain-strap pumps. Though the look is definitely heavy on sex appeal, Anja isn't the first star to gravitate toward Vaccarello's cutout designs - Karlie Kloss and Gwyneth Paltrow are also fans of his. Alessandra Ambrosio shared a sweet picture from her family vacation on her Facebook account this morning. Alessandra posed in a bikini with her 3-year-old daughter, Anja, who rubbed her mom's baby bump. The model and her fiancé, Jamie Mazur, shared that they are expecting their second child earlier this week, and today she added, "Anja, Jamie and I are overjoyed and extremely appreciative of all the wonderful wishes we've received!! 2011 has been a year filled with incredible gifts and this is the ultimate blessing!! Anja has filled our lives with love and we can't wait to welcome the new baby into the family this spring!!"

Alessandra isn't the only Victoria's Secret model expecting, since it was just announced that Lily Aldridge is pregnant with her first child with husband, Caleb Followill, after the couple tied the knot in May.

At the Cannes premiere of This Must Be The Place, legendary catwalker Claudia Schiffer and runway stunner Anja Rubik went head-to-head on the red carpet, both clad in sexy black gowns - and both with little left to the imagination. Claudia sported a lace bustier Dolce & Gabbana gown, accessorizing with layered diamond necklaces and a pair of black pumps. Anja's dress may have been full-length and long-sleeved, but it wasn't exactly modest. The Emilio Pucci gown was covered in sequins, and featured an ornate pattern made up of tiny holes. Anja Rubik donned a playful, feather-covered Pucci minidress and hot pink bejeweled heels for the amfAR Gala in Cannes yesterday. While the outfit looks like an innocent - and very fun - party outfit, it's actually a seriously expensive endeavor: Chopard and Guiseppe Zanotti partnered to create Anja's shoes, which were covered with $180,000 worth of jewels. The heels, boasting diamonds, pink sapphires, rubies, and russellites, were auctioned off for $200,000 at the Gala. While we're not sure what Anja wore after her shoes were sold to the highest bidder, we're optimistic the leggy model still looked party-ready.
