I don't know if you noticed, but the majority of stars at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards chose not to wear anything around their necks. Amanda Bynes was one of the very few who decorated her décolletage. Everyone else kept their bling to a minimum, allowing their dresses to take center stage.

I'm forever intrigued by bloodsuckers, but the sexiest monster has once again been popularized with the successes of Twilight and True Blood. I'm actually surprised I didn't see more gothic romance on the Fall runways; then again, we still have London, Milan, and Paris to go. Behold Molly Sims' swirly silk Alberta Ferretti goodness at the an LA photography exhibition hosted by the star. Yes, the pattern and colors of the dress make it unique, but I'm more drawn to her keen accessorizing abilities. Instead of leaving her neck bare, like most people would, Molly chose to layer different gold necklaces on top of one another for a chunky effect.

Geometric necklaces really make bare necks more interesting. This Marni Geometric Necklace ($635), is something I'd love to place around mine because it would add a touch of artsy flare to my look. But it's so out of my budget.

Before this, I didn't know there were degrees of being matchy matchy. Kate Hudson took the concept to a whole new level at a recent D&G party. I know that grey is a prevalent color right now, but that doesn't mean you have to wear it head to toe, literally.

Vanessa Williams has got some serious plumage going on here in this mint green Kevan Hall gown. She is also continuing with the bare neck trend, however in this case I think it works. What do you think - would Wilhelmina Slater approve of Vanessa's red carpet look?
