My heart dropped when I heard the news Adam Yauch of the Beasties was diagnosed with cancer. The Beastie Boys are one of my favorite all-time bands; I have seen them live more than any other group. And, I was looking forward to seeing them this Summer in San Francisco.

I have to share my excitement with you all: I'm going to see one of my all-time favorite bands, The Beastie Boys, this summer! This will be my fourth time seeing them and I'm so psyched to whip out my Adidas and old-school gear for them. Thanks to the Beasties, white boys gained coolness.
