I'm a city gal but that won't stop me from looking like a country cutie. To fake this Midwest vibe, dig around for soft, floral prints and muted colors. Smaller florals - like VS model Behati Prinsloo's Victoria's Secret Pink corset floral dress - deliver the best country girl illusion. If dresses aren't your thing, pair a smocked top with some cut-off jean shorts for a more casual look.

Here's the most important part to getting this right: take another glance at the South African beauty. Did you notice how she paired her dress with kickass Alex Wang heels? That's how you do it. Contrast all of that country softness with a tough piece to give it a modern touch.

Fab Face: Behati Prinsloo

Off camera and catwalk, Behati Prinsloo is a tomboy. Vintage Metallica t-shirts, leather jackets, and holey jeans are some of the things you'll spot her in on her down time. But when she walks the runway and poses for the cameras, something magical happens. Her healthy smile illuminates the room.

With such a unique name, you're probably wondering where she's from: Namibia. At only 19, she has already worked for the likes of Prada, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, and Chanel. She recently joined the ranks of Victoria's Secret and strutted her stuff in the 2008 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Nice. When she's not posing, you can find Behati and her BFF Coco Rocha making silly faces pre- and post-show.

Animal Hause

By now, most of you know that in addition to fashion I also love animals. I am, after all, mommy to my Frenchie Annabelle. Imagine taking our favorite animals and pairing them with the industry's hottest models and the world's most sought-after designers. Welcome to the animal hause! I've been noticing many a editorial featuring our furry, and not-so-furry, friends: dogs, monkeys, elephants, cats, cheetahs. Oh, and an eland (a type of antelope) like the one model Behati Prinsloo is battling in April's Harper's Bazaar. Some of these are sexy, some are scary, some serious, and some comical. Welcome to the jungle baby.

What Was She Thinking?!

Where there's fashion, there's fun. At least that's what my friend Simon Doonan and I preach. I'm sure my girl GiggleSugar would agree. Like Barneys, Fab loves to mix fashion and humor, so we present to you this new post that highlights the funny moments in fashion.

Some fun happens behind the seams, where models and designers shuffle around trying to get everything ready for show time. Take this backstage snapshot of models Emina Cunmulaj, Behati Prinsloo, and Heather Marks. It looks like Heather is rubbing Emina's breast for good luck, while Behati tries to get in on the action with her mouth. All the while, Emina is thinking, "What? Does my breast look like Buddha's belly to you?"

Battle of the Fall Ad Lineup: DKNY vs. Jones New York

Many models are forming lineups these days - luckily, not for the police, but rather for Fall's hottest ad campaigns. I've been noticing many lineup-style ads lately, and I quite like them because they cut out the frills and bring us face to face with the matter at hand: the creations. That, and the industry's most gorgeous models. DKNY's Fall '09 lineup - starring Bette Franken, Behati Prinsloo, Daiane Conterato, Anna Gushina, and more - is structured, with the girls standing sturdy, shoulder to shoulder. Jones New York's lineup with Anja Rubik, Caroline Trentini, Isabeli Fontana, and Liya Kebede is more friendly and lively. Both showcase the clothes flawlessly, but which ad lineup wins?

Feathers and Hotties at the 2008 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Let the pajama party begin. Plumage, perfectly toned (and tanned) bodies, sequins, lace, and ruffles, and, of course, Heidi Klum, all make up the holiday cocktail known as the Victoria's Secret fashion show. Victoria's Secret ignored economic uncertainty with a full-blown lingerie love affair at Miami's newest hot spot: The Fontainebleau hotel. When asked about this year's show, Ed Razek, VS’s president and chief marketing officer said, “Quite candidly, I think people are looking for a little escape right now." While many a celeb and pretty face turned out for not one, but two runway shows, there was more than enough escape to go around.The show will air on CBS on Dec. 3., but we've got the sparkly splendor for you now. With Usher performing, VS angels Selita Ebanks, Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, and Miranda Kerr strutted their hot stuff, as well as high fashion models like Lara Stone, Julia Stegner, and Behati Prinsloo. It was refreshing to see a couple classic faces like Carmen Kass and Noemie Lenoir, too. Whatever your fantasy, these girls wore an outfit to fulfill it. From bedazzled bras - Adriana Lima wore the the $5 million black diamond bra - to black lace bodysuits, cozy cuties, sci-fi getups, and dramatic wings, Victoria's Secret brought it full force.

Fab Flash: Victoria's Secret Goes Back to School

School just got sexier. Victoria's Secret's Pink line will take over sweatpants, hoodies, panties, T-shirts, and totes emblazoned with college logos and be available Friday at victoriassecret.com. A bit early for back-to-school shopping, but savvy nonetheless. Then, on July 1, the VS Pink Collegiate Collection, will be at 375 Victoria's Secret stores - near college and university campuses - as well as in the VS catalogs and campus bookstores. Who will be the cheerleader for this endeavor? Fresh faced Behati Prinsloo.

I was never into wearing school-pride gear. I went to the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York where the competition to look unique and cool was in effect every day; hoodies and sweatpants weren't acceptable. But that's fashion school for you. Would wear a feminized school hoodie?
