2008 spawned a tremendous flurry of fabulous Fashion Week shows. Let's see, there were New York Fall and Spring shows, Milan Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, and LA Fashion Week. Oh, and don't forget all of the ravishing Resort and Pre-Fall collections. Some of my faves were Proenza Schouler's Fall line, Alexander Wang's Spring offerings, and Balmain's Spring collection in Paris. All different, all divine. Which were your favorites? Honestly, what did we do before Gossip Girl? Even though GG isn't a fashion show per se, we love it most for the highly stylized wardrobe. The characters and the lives of the Upper East Siders are all fun and games, but we can't help but be fixated on every outfit. We give weekly tribute to the wardrobe, and deliver fashion quizzes. Best of 2008: The Return of the Supermodel

While it's fun seeing celebrities model high fashion, we were ecstatic to witness 2008 as the year of the return of the supermodel. Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Stephanie Seymour, and our fave, Kate Moss, came back full throttle across numerous Fab ads showing us what separates the super from the model. Past, present, and future; these ladies will always reign supreme.

I used to play in my mom's jewelry all the time - I still do. If this is you too, you probably voted for a statement necklace as your favorite trend of '08. The reader favorite was over-the-top shoes, and you know me, so this was a tough call. Then, Team Fab looked at each other and we were all wearing cool, unique statement necklaces so the decision was made. Clutches came in close after statement necklaces and we're all about those, too. What can we say: We love all the trends we presented. But glittering, ornate necklaces stole our hearts and our necks this year.

She's cute. She's sophisticated. She's approachable. She's nothing like her character on Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf. Well, OK, they're both cute and sophisticated. We agree that Leighton Meester has the best Celebrity Style of the year. She constantly impresses in fun frocks and smart jackets and isn't afraid to play with color or show a little skin. She's a girl's girl who attended Fashion Week in September and always has a smile on her face. What's not to love? Source

Not only do I Want This Wardrobe, but so do you! This year, we dedicated a good amount of time to recreating the wardrobes of the most fashionable characters on TV and in the movies. In the TV realm, Gossip Girl dominated, while Lipstick Jungle and Cashmere Mafia followed. The Sex and the City Movie, What Happens In Vegas, and Twilight made our cut for stylish flicks. Best of 2008: Tremendous Target Collaborations

I love it, you love it, we all love Target. This year, we were blessed with a tremendous amount of Target collaborations from some of our favorite designers such as Jovovich-Hawk, Richard Chai, Erickson Beamon, Sigerson Morrison, and Alexander McQueen. Alas, some of these collections have yet to hit the racks but all in due time, my dear. Take a trip down memory lane and check out all the Target team-ups in 2008. Which was your favorite?

Best of 2008: And the Handbag Designer of the Year Is . . .

No one's arguing that the handbag designer of the year is Chanel. Balenciaga was close behind, but Chanel wins both your and my vote. Karl has a way of reinventing the classic with every collection. And, he manages to throw in comic relief, poking fun at the fabulous world of fashion. They may be some of the steepest priced bags out there, but we're all lusting over Chanel.
