Most stars have a signature style. You know, when you look at an item and automatically think of a specific person. That's what happened when I saw this military-style jacket - the first thing that popped into my head was, I can totally see it on Beyonce. It reminded me of her Alexander McQueen velvet band vest. House of Deréon Delves Into Daywear

Beyonce and her mom Tina are busy ladies. Besides launching the Sasha Fierce collection, House of Deréon is designing a collection of day dresses for Spring. There will be a few dress and jacket ensembles, as well as jumpsuits in materials like washed rayon, silk, sateen, and spandex knit. "Beyoncé and I have had several occasions where we have meetings all day and don’t have time to run and change before dinner. This is a perfect collection to wear from the office to dinner because each piece can easily be dressed up or down," Tina Knowles said. The collection wholesales from $70 to $100 and will be available at select high-end department and specialty retailers.

As for the future? "I’m really hoping we can go into accessories really soon, especially jewelry. And as for shoes, that’s completely Beyoncé’s thing."

Beyonce Launches Sasha Fierce Collection

Beyonce's alter ego, Sasha Fierce, is making her way into the fashion industry with a new juniors clothing line called Sasha Fierce for Deréon. "The line really exudes a different side of my personality, which I am grateful that I can express," said Beyonce. The collection, codesigned with her mother, Tina Knowles, includes clothing, handbags, footwear, eyewear, lingerie, and jewelry - all described as over the top and inspired by Beyonce's Thierry Mugler concert costumes. That means a lot of large chains, mixed metals, studded shoes, and oversize sunglasses. Clothes include one-shoulder frocks, bodysuits, leather-like jackets, ripped jeans, and leggings. The line, wholesaling from $25 to $75, will be available come Fall at Macy’s and Dillard’s and specialty stores. Are you interested?

Trend Alert: Shine in Statement Earrings

Instead of donning the per usual necklace this Summer, I suggest you take B's cue and shine in statement earrings. These in-your-face adornments look best alone and without distraction. Why, hello back at you B. Don't you look beautiful and carefree strolling the streets of Berlin wearing a lightwash leather jacket. It adds a nice, feminine touch to the tough biker cut and also looks great against your skin tone. Enough gushing. Lucky for us, we don't have to be Beyonce to wear this luscious leather. You can, however, look to the R&B diva for styling inspiration. Notice how she paired it with a neutral top for a stunning, streamlined look. Nice. If that's not your thing, complement it with a floral frock and booties for ultimate girliness. The possibilities are endless. I already own a black and gray leather jacket, but this new color is too Fab to pass up.
