Every little kid, and big kid, is excited for Spike Jonze's film adaption of the endearing book Where The Wild Things Are. Opening Ceremony may possibly be the most stoked, its Wild Thing collection is awesome. The film releases soon - Oct. 16 - and I realized it's an easy, adorable, fabulously fuzzy Halloween idea. You may already have some furry boots or a fur vest, and really, the furrier the better. Add some spiked jewelry and tribal touches and go wild.

Now it's all in one tight place, AnnaSheffield.com. As well, there are online exclusives and limited-edition goodies. And Anna's on it - in a few weeks she's launching an iPhone app enabling users to purchase more easily from the site. Most cool? Learn how to pronounce Ah-na's name and hear about her muses via the blog and videos. I'm still obsessing over the arrow two-finger ring ($215), it's too special to ignore, just like Anna.

Trend Alert: Gothic Jewels

Soon, vamps will not only be trendy on the screen. I'm anticipating gothic jewels in the form of rosaries, crosses, and shark teeth, apparently, to start warding off delicious evil. Twilight's Robert Pattinson recently went gaga over Finn jewelry's pavé diamond shark’s tooth necklace at a photo shoot. The stylist on set was wearing said necklace and Pattinson ended up buying an 18-karat gold version on a leather cord. Other manly men who dig Finn's sharky bling: Liev Schreiber and Brad Pitt.
On the Angels and Demons side of the Hellmouth, Italian jewelry brand Damiani merged with costume designer Daniel Orlandi to create the jewelry for the action film. The special collection of crosses and rosary beads inspired by the film will be crafted with gold, diamonds, onyx, and black enamel. The line, aptly named Angels & Demons, will make an appearance at the upcoming Couture trade show in Las Vegas. Don't get too excited; prices range from $3,440-$8,540. Nobody said it was cheap being Buffy . . .

Fab Flash: Designer Collaboration Double Whammy

Y'all ready for this? First, next up for Target GO International: Bing Bang jewelry designer Anna Sheffield. You may recall Anna already teamed up with Urban Outfitters and Bensoni for a couple jewelry collections, word is she's next on the roster at our favorite cheapo retailer. Sweet. Stay tuned for more details on Anna Sheffield for Target . . .

In equally awesome news, Macy's is jumping on the designer collaboration train. The retail giant tapped Rachel Roy to create an exclusive line dubbed Rachel Rachel Roy. According to the designer, "This line is the younger sister to the Rachel Roy collection. It has the same designer sensibility but with a younger feeling." The line includes clothing and accessories - my eye is already on these colorful lace-up oxford booties. Product will hit stores in August, and a new retail concept is being applied. Roy's sister collection will be displayed in pop-up sections within Macy's with unique fixtures, separate from everything else. Smart - this way, you can't miss it. And you don't want to miss it. By the looks of it, Roy delivered her eclectic ladylike vision to the new endeavor; fur vests, artsy prints, rich embellishments, and playful separates make up the mix.

On Our Radar: Anna Sheffield Creates Jewels With Bensoni

The jewelry mastermind behind Bing Bang, Anna Sheffield, has teamed up with hip NY clothing brand Bensoni to create a line of rocker girl baubles to complement its Fall collection. The exclusive line, which debuted at New York Fashion Week, includes a selection of earrings, necklaces, and cuffs made in inky, metallic finishes. My favorite piece has to be this rad cuff. Anna's combination of bronze and teal is genius. The collection will be available come Fall. I'm tingling!
