The delivery marked the end of a two-year-long wait the actress endured for a covetable piece of fashion iconography. The bag, created in 1984 and named for Jane Birkin, ranges from $9,000 to $150,000 and has become essentially synonymous with luxury - and not easy to come by. Recently celebs like Nicole Richie and Khloe Kardashian ditched their gym bag and opted for a Hermès Birkin instead. I couldn't imagine bringing such an elegant bag to the gym! It seems like more celebs these days are working out with their posh purses. What do you think of this trend?

I just stumbled on these Birkin Bag Cocktail Napkins ($52) at Supermarket, and I think they're hilariously chic. They're certainly a lot more affordable than the real thing, and you don't have to endure a four-year waiting list at Hermès just to own them. I usually opt for paper cocktail napkins just for the sake of ease. But since these are made of cotton, they don't require dry cleaning, which is definitely convenient. The set comes with eight napkins, each in a different color. So fun! I'd reserve these for a special ladies luncheon or cocktail party - men just wouldn't understand.
