I've been wanting to do a Celeb Style on Carey - she is an upcoming fashion force. This navy and black look was perfect for the Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps press conference at Cannes. Professional, polished, poised. It's all in the details here, from her suede and chiffon Fendi cutout sandals, to her double black leather belt, to the folds on her Roland Mouret sheath. If this is a nod to the new minimalism, I'm in.

Black and blue keeps on going and going. Anne Hathaway dabbled with the color combination via her navy Marc Jacobs wrap dress back when she attended the David Letterman Show in October. She added black with opaque tights, pumps, and a Ferragamo bag. Courteney Cox Arquette chose the same dress for the Bedtime Stories premiere in Hollywood. She kept her look black and blue, too, only she added a necklace and a clutch. Two fine actresses, but which wore their Marc Jacobs better?

Let me put it this way: Funky Lala's sale section has so many goodies, it was seriously difficult for me to choose one item to spotlight. Botkier bags, Tashkhent by Cheyenne shoes, Pegah Anvarian dresses are all extraordinarily Fab.

Double Celebrity Style: Demi Moore and Tallulah Belle Willis

I love it when mother and daughter look equally stunning. At Glamour's Annual Reel Moments event, Demi Moore and daughter Tallulah Belle Willis both lit up the red carpet. Demi did so in a black Catherine Malandrino dress, while Tallulah dazzled in a navy silk Opening Ceremony frock. Doesn't the black-and-blue combination work so well together? While mommy opted for Yves Saint Laurent's Tribute pumps, daughter went the Louboutin route. Both stylish in their own way.

Trend Alert: Black & Blue

Wasn't there a point in time when people didn't think black and blue went together? Seeing as how the most common colors associated with a bruise are "black and blue" I don't really understand how people thought these colors didn't complement each other. Together, they create a dark mystique that oozes cool and collected. I have spotted this color combo on several starlets as of late and I'm totally into it. These three looks in particular are all very different, but all work, proving that black and blue is pretty versatile. Blast those naysayers who said it couldn't work!

The common denominator in two of these looks is layers. All three decided to go with noir shoes - probably the best way to work it. As well, the blue is more navy and moody; although bright blue works and sequins do too! This trend will take you into the Fall and beyond - but kbella already knows this!

Before we dive into what to buy, there are a few important things to remember about consuming these foods:

Eating foods fresh and in their natural state, especially fruits and vegetables (rather than in pill or powder supplement form), usually allows us to absorb the greatest amount of their nutrients. The way a superfood is processed or cooked can significantly lower its antioxidant content.
If the superfood can’t be eaten fresh, look for easy and appetizing recipes containing it. No matter how “super” a superfood may be, if you don’t know how to cook it, you’ll probably let it go to waste.

Richard Chai Love Fall 2012

Inspired by the idea of "handsome femininity," Richard Chai showed a Fall collection that was simultaneously simple, yet statement-making. “I didn’t want to do anything that was tricky,” Chai told The New York Times. “I didn’t want to create looks that were just for the show. I wanted it to be approachable and believable, but also be really aspirational. At the end of the day, it’s pieces that I want people to wear.” Chai's boy-meets-girl vision was interpreted into gorgeous slim-fit striped trousers, structured oversized blazers and coats, cozy knits, blanket-stripe coats, and moody florals. The latter was cut into diaphanous sheer skirts, corduroy pants, and jackets, adding a feminine streak to his city-slicker style. Furthermore, his outerwear was something to contend with; Chai's selection of oversized structured jackets and coats were perfectly tailored and ideal for topping off just about any Fall look.

What a night! Last night's SAG Awards brought out a bevy of celebrities decked out in a range of vibrant hues, metallic finishes, and bold embellishments. Our best dressed nominees of the evening are: Zoe Saldana in a shimmery Givenchy gown, Jessica Chastain in electric blue Calvin Klein, and Angelina Jolie in a slinky black dress by Jenny Packham. Furthermore, Viola Davis, winner of the best female actor award for her role in The Help, glowed in an ethereal creation by Marchesa, and Michelle Williams stunned in her red lace Valentino number. Award season saw another glamorous night with the Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA this evening. Stars from both the big and small screens brought even more great looks with plenty of ladies stepping out in neutrals. Presenter Zoe Saldana glowed in a white Givenchy Couture gown straight from the Paris runways while Bridesmaids' Kristen Wiig chose a Balenciaga halter. Viola Davis, who won best actress and best picture for The Help, got gorgeous in a strapless Marchesa and her winning costar Octavia Spencer donned Tadashi Shoji. The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies wore a custom beaded Calvin Klein Collection as she arrived on the arm of her husband Keith Lieberthal.

There were a few fun pops of color this evening, including a group that matched the carpet in red. Best actress nominee Michelle Williams looked sweet in a lace Valentino gown and Lanvin clutch and Kyra Sedgwick showed skin in a cutout Pucci that displayed her rib tattoo of her family's initials. Modern Family's Sofia Vergara continued her sexy streak in a strapless pink Marchesa dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, which were front and center when she took the stage with her costars to accept the best TV comedy ensemble statue. Emily Blunt got bright in a green Oscar de la Renta next to husband John Krasinski, and The Help's Jessica Chastain went with a bold blue Calvin Klein.

Angelina Jolie led the pack of black looks in a slinky Jenny Packham gown and Ashlee Simpson followed suit in a sequin number by the same designer when she arrived with boyfriend and Boardwalk Empire nominee Vincent Piazza. Emma Stone mixed things up with a short McQueen and 30 Rock's Tina Fey went strapless in Versace. Melissa McCarthy, who was nominated for Bridesmaids, joined the dark-hued dresses in navy Badgley Mischka.
