For Fall, Bottega Veneta creative director Tomas Maier chose to work with Russian model Anna Jagodzinska and famed photographer Steven Meisel. And he's thrilled with the outcome. "I admire the intelligence that [Meisel] brings to fashion.

With Cruise '10 in full effect, let's stop and evaluate the latest. Frocks and skirts dominated, but what really caught my eye were clean, lean trousers — quite the opposite of crazy harem pants. Instead, trousers ranged from cropped and loose-fitting to tight and body-con.

No one does casual cool better than Cameron Diaz. We caught the beauty in NYC looking sunkissed to perfection wearing a pair of distressed jeans and pocket tank by Alexander Wang. I love how her shrunken black blazer, layered over a matching cardi, gives a polished touch while strappy gold flats, a turquoise Alexis Bittar ring, and an oversize tote lend a bohemian feel.

They all look as hot on the carpet as they do in the movie.

I'd like to think the fashion world is always ahead of the game and, last Fall, knew the world was going to unravel. Yikes — am I being a killjoy? It's just that a throw of Spring runways sent wrinkled, undone, mismatched, crinkled, off-kilter clothes into the mix.
