With so many options in women's fashion, why is it so satisfying to shop the men's section? It's seductive to see a woman throw on her boyfriend's shirt and look utterly, and effortlessly, sexy. There's a confidence associated with a woman who can assert her femininity even when clothed in men's silhouettes. There's also the thing about the fit: it's not tailored to our body, and the boxiness adds a bit of mystery and je ne sais quoi. Here's what we're shopping from the men's - and in one instance, the boys'- section. Maybe it's time to play tomboy.

Brooks Brothers Launches a Dapper New Décor Line

If there's a man in your life who has the dapper dress going on, but whose bachelor pad still qualifies as cringe-worthy, now he can shop for his throw pillows and cuff links in one fell swoop: Brooks Brothers has launched a home décor collection! The masculine new line, available exclusively online, includes decorative pillows and bedding and bath items.

Most noteworthy are the Tie Stripe Silk Twill Pillows ($248-$288), which are made from the English silk used to craft the brand's classic, dashing neckties - though I must say they're a bit overpriced. For the bedroom, Brooks Brothers Home offers two collections; the Blue Yarn-Dye line is inspired by men's dress shirts, while the Herringbone line features classic white linens with a three-row embroidered border. I'm just hoping one day they'll offer monogramming. Meanwhile, simple terrycloth towels, robes, and slippers make up the bath collection. The brand is expected to debut some more home accessories like lampshades this Fall, too, so stay tuned! Check out my favorite picks from the line below.

The Gifted Grandparent: Grandpa

The title "Grandpa" often connotes images of an old man with a cane, glasses and worn out hands. But if 50 is the new 30, then Gramps should act and dress the part, too.

Make sure the man is well groomed with a set of Kiehl's shaving lotions and creams. Your wee one should be begging for kisses from Gramps, not a porcupine.
Keep Grandaddy hip with a timeless pair of Chuck Taylors. The grandchildren will think he's the coolest pop on the block.
For the dapper Pappy, a cashmere tartan scarf will keep him nice and cozy on the outside while giving him warm fuzzies on the inside.

If only she spent less time conspiring and more time actually hitting the books . . . but then she wouldn't be Blair, would she?

Ah, the Hermes Birkin: a mystery to the common fashionista but a confidant to the stars. In the case of Victoria Beckham, the Birkin is more than a friend - it's a lover!
