After attending Burberry Prorsum's magnificent show, the multi-talented Gwyneth Paltrow attended the afterparty showing off her all-Burberry, all-bodacious 'fit. While I can swoon for hours about her warped baby blue skirt, I'm going to focus on her tough shoes. They're the perfect example of fashion meets function.

As New York Fashion Week draws to a close for us at FabSugar US, our friends from across the pond at FabSugar UK are gearing up for London Fashion Week, which starts today and goes until Sept. 22. Sure to be one of the highlights of LFW is the Burberry Prorsum show, which will be held in London instead of Milan, where it is typically held.
Who Was Most Fab at Burberry's NYC Soiree?
In celebration of its new NY headquarters, Burberry lit the cityscape with bright lights and a fashionable soiree filled with bubbly and a guest list PR people would kill for. There were a ton of looks to choose from, but I narrowed it down to five. Lily Donaldson showed off her stems in a white chiffon minidress; Alexa Chung styled her printed sheath with a belt and blazer; Leigh Lezark looked sexy stealth in a ruched eggplant frock and sharp heels; Claire Danes accessorized her gray dress with bold adornments; and Blake Lively looked cunning in a loose blazer and mini.

I can never tire of the sexy librarian look. Is it the soft long cardigans? Or maybe it's the notion that you don't have to show a lot of skin to look sexy.
Behind the Seams: Nordstrom Fall 2008 Designer Preview
Seeing runway photos is not nearly as enticing as seeing the clothes live, and Nordstrom's Designer Preview 2008 reiterated that fact. For example, Bill Blass's gray/black tulle-bodice strapless dress — you know, the one Anne Hathaway wore at the Get Smart premiere — literally came to life before my eyes on the catwalk. While I admired it on Anne, I fell madly in love with it that night because I saw the way the bottom half of the dress danced as the model pranced down the runway.

It's time to shake up your smoothie with a berry mix. If you don't like raspberries, try a blueberry or strawberry, and if you're scared of getting seeds stuck in your teeth, give grape a try. These sweet concoctions come in shades of glory and complement every skin tone.
Milan Fashion Week, Fall 2008: Burberry Prorsum
Three things to take away from Burberry Prorsum's Fall '08 collection: dramatic coats, statement necklaces and knit beanies. The talented Christopher Bailey yet again injected a kick of cool to the once-conservative brand, and also showed serious frocks and metallic pants. The overall vibe was sophisticated grunge, with moody hues like taupe, grey, and midnight blue.
From Project Runway to Real Runway
He is quite the little ego maniac, but Project Runway's Christian may be onto something. In this week's episode, he used Reese's wrappers to make a texturized dress; one that made me think it was straight off the real-life runway. Lo and behold, I wasn't too far off.
Fab Finds of the Week: Rainbow Bright
Just because the sky is dreary and gray doesn't mean our outfits need to be. A little punch of color in an ensemble can do wonders to prevent the onset of some horrible seasonal affective disorder. I'm proud to say that this week, your Fab Finds ooze red, blue, chartreuse, teal, fuchsia, orange, purple, and yellow: a veritable Fall rainbow.
