If you need a 2009 calendar, let me suggest the most fashionable out there: the W Hotels/CFDA 2009 Calendar ($15). What makes this more special than others? For one, it's designed to look like a sketchbook, includes blank sketch pages, and has room to hold a pencil.

Coolest part, 12 designers, - Diane von Furstenberg, the Rag & Bone boys, Victoria Bartlett - were asked to contribute an exclusive image that has inspired their creative process. Plus, 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the CFDA Foundation. I can't think of one reason not to buy this calendar.

Last year it was in Botswana and this year? Brazil, baby! I'm talking about the highly anticipated 2010 Pirelli Calendar. Photographer Terry Richardson, here seen snapping Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, took his lens to the tropical locale to shoot scantily clad Brazilian models Ana Beatriz Barros, Gracie Carvalho, and non-Brazilians Eniko Mihalik, Miranda Kerr, Catherine McNeil, Daisy Lowe, Lily Cole, and more. Girls on Film: Karl's Couture Calendar

There's no doubt Karl Lagerfeld has a knack for photography. He already has campaign ads under his belt and next are calendars. In collaboration with Italian Marie Claire, the Kaiser himself will be creating a couture-filled calendar featuring Eva Herzigova playing a dozen different characters. “It’s about how one girl can be every woman. It’s an idea I love,” said Lagerfeld. “We did the shoot in one night, from 8 in the evening until 8 in the morning.” The calendar will be available Dec. 16 at select bookstores. As we approach the holidays, I'm on the lookout for original party looks. Eva's wink may not be up to par, but the slick tuxedo-inspired look she wore to the 2010 Pirelli Calendar cocktail reception in London was beyond Fab. She dressed up her slight harem pants with delicate sandals, a draped white top, and a velvet blazer. Feminine details like a black lace peekaboo bra and radiant art deco earrings are suave touches. A jolt of red satin via her clutch is holiday-tastic.

Ukranian beauty Olga Kurylenko has been MIA for a while, but she's back, and bolder than ever. At the 2010 Campari Calendar cocktail party in Milan, the actress showed up in a can't-miss-it red Valentino couture gown that perfectly matched the red carpet. Up top she's fully covered in a turtleneck and long sleeves, but she's showing a bit of leg and thigh in a high slit. She's way more covered than she has to be, but if you look back on previous looks, her gutsy nature is no shock. What do you think of this lady in a lot of red?

We've all been anticipating Jimmy Choo's collab with H&M, and while the collection won't hit stores until Nov. 14, feast your eyes on the newly released Fall look book. I can't seem to focus on just one item - the faux fur vest is calling my name, but there's also shoes, bags, dresses, jewels, and a pair of amazing leather-like leggings. Jimmy Choo on the cheap, life is sweet. Set your calendars . . .

Hungarian model Eniko Mihalik is one to watch. She's currently strutting the New York Fashion Week catwalks like a pro, and she has even made it into the 2010 Pirelli calendar, which is no easy feat. If you don't yet know the 22-year-old, Fashion Week is a good place to start because she's made it into some major shows like Rodarte, Carolina Herrera, and Jason Wu. But her shining moment, in my humble opinion, is this look from Carlos Miele - now that's how to do high-fashion cleavage!

Alexander McQueen's Virtual Runway Show

Alexander McQueen is taking the virtual world by storm. In addition to tweeting funny messages like "I'm at the dentist . . . about to go under the knife!," the designer has announced, via Twitter, that he will be streaming his Spring collection Oct. 6 runway show at Paris Fashion Week live at AlexanderMcQueen.com and AlexanderMcqueenLive.showstudio.com - no tickets necessary. McQueen is collaborating with Nick Knight’s SHOWStudio.com. Knight divulged robot cameras will be at work on and off the catwalk, and in the audience, while, at the back of the runway, an LED screen will beam out the roving cameras’ images. So cool.

Why? Why ask why? McQueen explains, “Every year, buyers and the press come to see the spectacle of my show. But I want to generate something else, something for a wider audience - for people in Australia, Asia, and Middle America who don’t have a seat at the show. Really, what I’m aiming for is world domination!” McQueen devotees: set your calendar!

Vogue fiends, mark your calendars for Aug. 28, the day R.J. Cutler's film, The September issue comes out. But before you prebuy your Fandango ticket, check out the 2.29-second trailer below. It's juicier than juicy, The Devil Wears Prada-ish, but nonfiction! The highlights? Anna admits that her father, once the editor of Evening Standard, convinced her to be a fashion editor and helped her get the Vogue job. Must be nice. Also, designer Thakoon Panichgul likens Anna to Madonna. And Anna tells Oscar de la Renta to axe an outfit she dislikes from his collection. K'tsh, k'tsh!
