The latest batch of glossy Spring '12 ads have us swooning for retro prints, sunny beachside dance parties, safari adventures, boxy handbags, and fluoro-enhanced heels. While our first roundup of warm weather campaigns showed off the likes of Versace, Mulberry, Proenza Schouler, and Salvatore Ferragamo, this time around we get to check out favorites like Calvin Klein, Balenciaga, Oscar de la Renta, and Escada. Expect to spy a few familiar faces in the mix. Rihanna in Emporio Armani Underwear, Milla Jovovich gets silly for Italian brand Marella, Monica Bellucci shimmies seaside in lacy Dolce & Gabbana confections, and Clemence Poesy poses as the new face of G-Star. The real showstopping detail? The dress's skin-baring backless detail, which left nothing to hide. Calvin Klein underwear is known for its simple-meets-sexy aesthetic, but the latest campaign featuring Lara Stone turned the hotness way up. Shot in black and white by Patrick Demarchelier, Lara looked ultrasultry, wearing Calvin Klein's Naked Glamour collection featuring the brand's signature t-shirt bras and sexier lace pieces. To boot, the slogan states: “Designed to make a woman look even sexier than when naked." Red, nude, and gold may have dominated the dress color spectrum at the Met's Costume Institute Gala last night, but two women were notable for their minimal, but boldly hued dresses. Brooklyn Decker chose a hot pink Michael Kors dress with long sleeves and a deep slit, while Zoe Saldana chose a strapless yellow Calvin Klein gown. On a night where excess and fanciful details ruled, these women made a statement in their sartorial restraint. Who wore minimal best?
