I bought this cotton hooded cape by American Apparel months ago and have yet to wear it; I don't know why, it's pretty fly. Shiny leggings and my trusty black flat boots are simple, letting the dramatic cape capture attention. My mom knits all my cozy accessories and this nubby black beanie is a cashmerical.

Look Book Love: Zara, September '09

I've come to the conclusion that I'm a Zara girl. As of late, I can't get enough of its sophisticated and fairly affordable options. In fact, the Spanish retailer just announced it will start selling its collection online in the UK and other European countries - lucky! Sigh, for now, let's lust after its September '09 look book. Everything we need for Fall was on display: cozy sweaters, tailored military coats, faux fur, lace, lush leopard prints, and a to-die-for collection of boots. Zara's eye for detail leaves me swooning for every piece - this sleek wool cape is at the top of my list. What's on yours?
