With Spring ready-to-wear in the bag, designers are conjuring up their Spring ad campaigns, placing the hottest of the hot with the most stylish shutterbugs. Thus far, we know Lara Stone will star in Louis Vuitton's ads, while Daisy Lowe will shine for its swimwear line. In Versace land, Donatella has chosen Fabcon Georgia May Jagger to be photographed by Mario Testino. On the celebrity front, Madonna was snatched up by Dolce & Gabbana - we're hoping she won't look as photoshopped as her previous Louis Vuitton ads.

Carmen and Noah are once again muse for Michael Kors, but for Fall, the designer took the hotties off the yacht and into the city. Shot by Mario Testino, the plan was "to reflect the urban nature of the season." The couple is attending a Broadway show. “Michael is an avid fan of the theater and has been attending Broadway shows since the tender age of five,” said a spokesman. I don't know, been there done that for the NYC mayhem that is Times Square; I would rather be whisked away to a fantasy land. And you?

Model Muse: Carmen Kass

Carmen Kass is a model underdog. Don't get me wrong - she's received accolades and been snapped countless times - but she's under the radar. Although, she did win Model of the Year at the VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards in 2000 (they should totally bring that awards show back, btw). Kass is one of my longstanding new(er) faves. The gangly Estonian blew on to the scene around the same time as Gisele, the late '90s. I always thought she was both adorable and sultry. And, she has a killer runway walk - just check out those thighs of steel. She doesn't do much runway today, but she is Michael Kors's perma-face. Victoria's Secret once tapped the sharp-faced Carmen - again, the killer runway walk - and she is the new face of Max Factor. She pops up here and there, though never enough for me. Feathers and Hotties at the 2008 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Let the pajama party begin. Plumage, perfectly toned (and tanned) bodies, sequins, lace, and ruffles, and, of course, Heidi Klum, all make up the holiday cocktail known as the Victoria's Secret fashion show. Victoria's Secret ignored economic uncertainty with a full-blown lingerie love affair at Miami's newest hot spot: The Fontainebleau hotel. When asked about this year's show, Ed Razek, VS’s president and chief marketing officer said, “Quite candidly, I think people are looking for a little escape right now." While many a celeb and pretty face turned out for not one, but two runway shows, there was more than enough escape to go around.The show will air on CBS on Dec. 3., but we've got the sparkly splendor for you now. With Usher performing, VS angels Selita Ebanks, Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, and Miranda Kerr strutted their hot stuff, as well as high fashion models like Lara Stone, Julia Stegner, and Behati Prinsloo. It was refreshing to see a couple classic faces like Carmen Kass and Noemie Lenoir, too. Whatever your fantasy, these girls wore an outfit to fulfill it. From bedazzled bras - Adriana Lima wore the the $5 million black diamond bra - to black lace bodysuits, cozy cuties, sci-fi getups, and dramatic wings, Victoria's Secret brought it full force.

Fab Ad: Michael Kors Cruise '09

Does looking at this picture make you swoon with envy? I don't blame you. Life couldn't be better for models Carmen Kass and Noah Mills as they pose for Michael Kor's '09 Cruise campaign. Photographed by Mario Testino, Carmen looks like a sun-kissed beach babe in Kor's colorful assortment of swimsuits, dresses, and tunics. I like how each outfit is styled to the nines with yummy accessories and handbags. Noah's (lack of) clothes is pretty fabulous, too. Hmmm . . . I wonder if I can squeeze in some time for a Winter vacay in the Tropics.

You've Come a Long Way, Chloé!

I recently talked to you about the fashion metamorphosis of Chloé, more specifically its changing head designers. Now it's my pleasure to showcase the house's ad campaign transformation from 2003 until now. Over time, Chloé has delivered murky yet polished campaigns, with top models in decidedly serious dispositions.

In Fall of 2003, Angela Lindvall channeled a hot hippie chick. Fall 2004 (left) had Caroline Winberg and Dewi Driegen expressing anger in contrastingly feminine duds.

A long-haired Anja Rubik and Julia Stegner leaned on one another to bring the Spring 2006 shots to life. In Fall 2006, Carmen Kass and Malgosia Bela hit the desert and made turbans look desirable. For the latest Spring 2008 campaign - which is the least exciting - Ali Stephens posed beachside in Paulo Melim Andersson's colorblock, airy clothes. Which year is your favorite?

Fab Faces Through the Years

While researching for Ungaro's fashion metamorphosis, I delved into the New York Fashion Week archives. So fun! One thing that occurred to me was how young and innocent today's models were back in the early '90s. Well, duh, they were younger and more innocent, so it's not an earth-shattering revelation. Still, I thought it would be fun to lead you through the transformations of some of today's models: Carmen Kass (left at Ralph Lauren, Spring '03), Gisele Bundchen, Jacquetta Wheeler, Erin Wasson, Tiiu Kuik, and Natalia Vodianova. Let me tell you - they were beautiful then, they're beautiful now.

Freaky or Fabulous? Carmen Kass, the Alien

Dutch photographers Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin have shot many a fashion editorial but this one for V Magazine may be the creepiest yet. It's almost painful to look at model Carmen Kass' protruding bones and alien-like neck. Her face is pretty, but it looks as though her head is going to snap off at any moment. Freaky! What do you think?
