Carolyn Murphy gets the honor of being chosen for Seven's first ever print ad campaign! She was shot by Patrick Demarchelier (every time I hear that name I think of Meryl Streep saying it in The Devil Wears Prada) in the brand's denim, footwear, and handbags at the penthouse at Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel and at Los Angeles' Stahl House.

I love the crisp look of the ads, very to-the-point so you can focus on what Carolyn is actually wearing. And I love how they made her tower over the LA skyline! What do you all think?

Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Carolyn Murphy

Model, Carolyn Murphy showed up at the Vanity Fair After Party last night in a bright yellow bauble with red lips and straight hair. Talk about fitting in! If it weren't for her fur stole, she'd be virtually controversy free. I think she looks beautiful, what do you think?

Model of the Week: Carolyn Murphy

Welcome to our third first installment of Model of the Week. I've written a five question interview that I have conducted with several models to share with you. The questions are both fun and beauty related and will always stay the same. To see the rest of the Model of the Week posts click here.

Here's a little history about the classically stunning Carolyn Murphy. She was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, on August 11th, 1975. She grew up in and about Northwest Florida in a trailer park in Panama City, Florida. She was spotted and discovered at the age of 16 by the owner of Mary Lou's Models Modeling agency and began modeling right away.

Carolyn moved to Milan to model after high school. It was there where she gained her popularity. She bleached her hair blond for a photo shoot and it began to fall out. Many photographers took notice of her brave, boyishly short haircut and she began getting work in high profile magazines.

You may recognize her from her 2005 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover, as the face of Estee Lauder, from her award as VH1/Vogue's "Model of the Year"in 1988, from her many magazine ads, runway shows or from her screen debut in the movie, Liberty Heights.

Carolyn is also the proud mother of a gorgeous seven year old daughter named Dylan Blue. I am pleased to be featuring this stately blond, blue eyed fashion icon whom I have admired for years.

BELLA: What is your secret to beautiful skin and hair?
CM: Sleep, water, exercise and maintenance. For skin, a routine is key. I wash with a foaming cleanser twice a day, I exfoliate once a week and I always use a good moisturizer.

BELLA: What is the one product that you can't live without?
CM: I’m obsessed with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair! It makes my skin feel like a baby.

BELLA: What is your guilty pleasure?
CM: Dark Chocolate...any kind.

BELLA: What is your favorite drugstore product?
CM: My favorite drugstore product is Egyptian Magic and I carry it with me everywhere. It is made with olive oil and bee pollen so it's great for dry hair, cuticles, lips and even skin rashes my daughter gets from wind.

BELLA: Happiness is...
CM: My daughter, my family, art, writing, sleep and world peace.

Fab Ad: Versace Spring/Summer '07

I remember a time when supermodels reigned in the fashion industry. It was an era when we were on first name basis with Christy (Turlington), Kate (Moss), Cindy (Crawford) and Claudia (Schiffer). It was a time when Naomi (Campbell) wasn't known for her phone-throwing antics and Tyra (Banks) didn't have an Oprah-esque talk show. Where oh where have those times gone?!

I absolutely bow down to Versace's Spring/Summer '07 ad campaign because it attempts to recreate the infamous supermodel era of the early 90s. Although you can't see it in the photos above, the ads, which are in all of the major fashion mags right now, say "Carolyn, Kate and Carmen for Versace." Equally enthusiastic about the supermodel era are our friends at Fashionista, who did a post about Vogue's 100th Anniversary cover with the greatest supermodels.

One of the greatest photogs, Mario Testino, shot these ads with famous models Kate (no last name necessary here!), Carmen Kass, Angela Lindvall and Carolyn Murphy. Like all of Mario's work, the ads ooze glamour and sophistication. The fabric hues are rich and are the perfect contrast to the models' blond, silky hair.

Fab Flash: Gisele Tops List of High-Earning Models in 2008

Forbes' annual list of the world's top-earning models is out, and Gisele takes the top spot again this year.

She has accumulated $35 million (!) in the last 12 months from her former contract with Victoria's Secret, her ads for Versace, a lucrative deal with Max Factor, plus those popular sandals of hers; and that's just to name a few of the sources.

Heidi Klum trails behind in second place with $14 million in earnings, which is no surprise between Project Runway and her Victoria's Secret contract. But the real surprise - to me, anyway - is that Tyra isn't on the list.

According to Forbes Magazine, there's a slew of models who are raking in more money than any of us can even dream of.
